基于暗通道改进的图像去雾算法

摘要:雾霾天气会导致拍摄出来的图像画质严重受损,进而影响图像后续处理工作,所以对有雾图像进行去雾操作有重要意义。针对暗通道去雾算法对天空区域处理效果不佳、去雾图像偏暗以及无法处理颜色失真的问题,本文提出一种基于暗通道改进的图像去雾算法。首先,在原始暗通道先验理论的基础上,采用结合大气散射模型的方法对暗通道去雾算法进行优化。其次,引入四叉树细分的分层搜索算法,以便更加准确地估计大气光值。然后,使用梯度域导向滤波算法进一步细化透射率,最后,将去雾图像从RGB空间转化成HSV空间,通过像素放大倍数的方法增强整体对比度。在合成雾和真实雾的数据集上与经典去雾算法进行主观和客观对比,大量的实验表明,本文算法具有显著优势。

Image defogging algorithm based on dark channel improvement
Abstract:Hazy weather can cause serious damage to the image quality, which in turn affects the subsequent processing of the image, thus it is important to defog the fogged images. This thesis proposes an improved image defogging algorithm based on the dark channel to address the problems that the dark channel defogging algorithm is ineffective in processing sky areas, darkening the defogged images and failing to deal with colour distortion. Firstly, this algorithm is optimized by combining the atmospheric scattering model, basing on the original dark channel a priori theory. Secondly, a hierarchical search algorithm with quadtree subdivision is introduced to estimate atmospheric light values more accurately. Then, a gradient domain guided image filtering algorithm is used to further refine the transmittance, and finally, the defogged image is transformed from RGB space to HSV space to enhance the overall contrast by means of pixel magnification.Subjective and objective comparisons with classical defogging algorithms on synthetic and real fog datasets, and a large number of experiments show that the algorithm in this paper has significant advantages.
