During the structural analysis of cable-stayed bridges, some specific problems arise that are not common in other types of bridges. One of these problems is the derivation of an optimal sequence for the tensioning of the stay cables. This paper describes a novel solution to this problem. Finite elements are used for modeling the bridge structure. Numerical examples are presented, which illustrate the high obtainable accuracy of the method.

Outbreaks of skin and internal neoplasia in commercial Hyline layer flocks occurred in eastern China during the years of 2009 to 2010. Anemia, reduction in egg production and high mortality (up to 20%) were common characters of affected flocks. Most of tumors were present in the skin of trunk, digitus, joint, face and wing, and in the liver, spleen, heart, small intestine and pancreas at 26-week of age. The tumors looked exactly like blood blisters in various sizes. Microscopically, they were defined as hemangiomas of typical capillary and cavernous form, characterized by greatly distended blood spaces with thin walls composed of endothelial cells. Myelocytomas, fibrosarcomas and myxoma were observed in few hemangiomas cases. Three strains of avian leukosis virus subgroup J (ALV-J) were isolated from DF-1 culture (WS0703, WS0704 and WS0705). Sequences analysis of the gp85 gene of the three strains revealed that these viruses are closely related to HPRS-103 (98.3%), a prototype of ALV-J. There was no evidence of Marek's disease virus (MDV) infection. Proviral DNA of avian leukosis virus subgroup A/B (ALV-A/B) and Reticuloendotheliosis virus (REV) was not detected by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) either in tumors or in DF-1 cultures. The report demonstrated that hamangiomas presentation associated with not only multipotential oncogenicity of ALV-J but also the line of chicken. The pathogenesis need to be further investigated.?????

When treating a mustard tuber wastewater with high concentration of salt and nitrogen by mixed hybrid membrane bioreactor, the salting out could accelerate speed of membrane fouling that would lead to the decrease of membrane flux, even make the membrane useless due to the membrane damage. In order to solve this problem, an experimental research was carried to study of the pattern and the products of salting out in treating mustard tuber wastewater by membrane bioreactor(MBR). According to the analysis of salting out, it could provide theoretical foundations for slowing down and preventing membrane from fouling. The research showed that the crystal precipitation, the filamentous sludge, the grainy sludge and sludge lumping would respectively adhere to the membrane modules when the experimental water temperature was respectively controlled at under 10 C, between 10 C and 15 C, and above 15 C. So it could be concluded that temperature was the main factor of effecting salting out, and lower temperature leaded to more salting out as well as more servere membrane fouling. The degree of salting out of the four situations was crystal precipitation> filamentous sludge adhering> grainy sludge adhering≈sludge lumping.

This paper considers the single machine scheduling problems with time-dependent deterioration and exponential learning effect and the starting time, i.e. the actual processing time of a job depends not only on the processing time of the jobs already processed but also on its scheduled position and its starting time. Here considers a new model and shows that the single machine scheduling problems to minimize the makespan and the total completion time and the sum of the $2$th power of job completion times can be solved by the smallest(normal) processing time first (SPT) rule respectively. It can be proved that the total weighted completion time minimization problem and the maximum lateness minimization problem are polynomially solvable under certain conditions.

Drip Irrigation Technique is a basic form of Water Saving Irrigation. Previous researches of drip irrigation technique in greenhouse were not paid more attentions in detailed calculating and researching on suitable schedule as appropriate drip irrigation frequency and water amount by each growing stage. The experimental research on suitable drip irrigation schedule for tomato was carried out in the Greenhouse located in Water Saving Park of Jiangning Campus, Ho Hai University, Nanjing, China from February to July, 2007 to contribute in assessing effect of drip irrigation technique for water utilization issue, crop development and productivity, especially to find suitable drip irrigation schedule for tomato by growing stages. The experimental model of drip irrigation for tomato was designed with nine treatments and one control following three irrigation frequencies and three levels of water amount. Drip irrigation water amount for tomato was calculated by Panman method based on combination between evapotranspiration changed by daily evaporation measurement results and each growing stage. Results of experimental model showed that drip irrigation has made the real effect for tomato development process and yield as well as water saving issue. With traditional irrigation method, all tomato component and yield results were lower than those ones in nine treatments. From measured and analyzed results of tomato growing as well as irrigation water requirement, the irrigation schedule is established with 3-day frequency and water level of 100% evapotranspiration to serve agricultural production development and to perform specific researches.
