In this general lecture new models for continuum mechanics and generalized continuum mechanics are proposed and a contrastive review of the traditional and our results concerning basic laws and principles for continuum field theories are presented. The reasons why there exist some unsolved problems since the beginning of histories of various continuum field theories are expounded. Cornplete laws and equations of motion for continuum field theories based on these new models are derived. Some suggestions for further researches are made.
