Objective: To obscrvc thc cffcct of tonifying Kidncy hcrbs (TKH) on Pitnitary gland, ovary, and arlrcnal gland of and rogcn sterilizccl rats (ASR). Methods: ASR model was blished by itjeeling leslus-terone ptopionate suoculaneously to Sprague Dawley (SD) lemale rats of 9 days age. Morphological and cn-feeding TKH exlract were observed by ligh and electron microscope, cell eultures, immunohistochemical stud-ics, and radioimmmunoassay.Results: In thc ASR groups. thcre wcre intracytoplasmic lipid drops, crinophagy, vacuole, and autophagy in pituilary gland. anovulation in ovary. and hyperplasia of reticular zone in adrenal gland.
