The trend combining mobile communication and Internet is a necessity of history, furthermore, high-speed wireless Internet technology is an important direction of future communication. Several technologies of the high-speed wireless Internet in the world are followed up in this paper. The author introduces several kinds of research fields and key technologies which are suitable for high-speed wireless Internet and appraises each of technological characteristic.
