Hydrothermal synthesis,crystal structure and magnetism of [Nd (C7H6N02) 3

A novel coordination polymer with three-dimensional network, [Nd (C7H6N02) 3-H2O] n, has been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction of the single-crystal, IR and UV-vis-NIR spectra as well as by the measurement of the magnetic susceptibility.The polymer crystallizes in the monoclinic, space group P2 (1)/n with a=9.8069 (5)Å, b=22.736 (2)Å, c=9.8254 (8)Å, β=100.053 (5)º, V=2157.1 (3) Å3, Z=4，and R (Rw) =0.038(0.0924). Cryomagnetic investigations (4.5-300K) reveal that the polymer possesses weak antiferromagnetic property.
