Numerical jetting Rapid Prototyping manufacturing

According to enabling technologies of Rapid Prototyping (RP) techniques, RP could be divided into two categories, laser based and jetting based. For example, SL, LOM and SLS are laser based. 3D Printing, FDM and 3D Plotting are jetting based. This paper presents three new kinds of jetting based Rapid Prototyping technologies which are developing in our CLRF (Center of Laser Rapid Forming). These are IFRP (Ice Forming Rapid Prototyping), BEM (Biomaterials Extrusion Modeling), PLC (Patternless Casting). The principles of technologies, hardware, software, equipment and their merits are descried. BEM has been already successful introduced into practical application.
