Motion Recognition of human-arm based on high-speed video camera

adopted to monitor fast human-arm motion for analyzing human motion characteristics. An imaging system is set up, and black marks are adopted to label human arm’s position during experiments. An algorithm of image sequence processing is developed for extracting the center points of the marks. Then, the angle, velocity and acceleration of human arm joints during the motion are calculated. The results can provide motion control scheme of humanoid robot arm.
