Guidelines of Parameter Settings in 3D Fast Multipole Method

Practical implementation of three dimension fast multipole method depends on theparameter settings include group number, multipole number and approximate integral etc. A simpleformula is derived so that the accuracy and efficiency of the method versus parameters can be easilyinvestigated. The guideline of the parameter setting is discussed and verified by numericalexamples.
