工学博士,西南交通大学教授。从2000年开始,一直致力于伪随机序列设计及信息安全的研究工作,在序列理论界、低/零相关区序列设计、广义d-form序列构造、线性复杂度的取得了一系列创新成果。在IEEE Transactions on Information Theory、IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology,IEE Electronics Letters国际权威学术期刊发表研究论文6篇,ISIT等国际重要学术会议发表论文多篇,其中被SCI检索5篇、EI检索6篇。已获中国发明专利2项,申请国际PCT发明专利1项。因在低/零相关区序列设计理论上的出色工作,博士论文《低/零相关区理论与扩频通信系统序列设计》被评选为2003年度全国百篇优秀博士论文。
主研国际合作研究课题,国家自然科学基金课题、国家863课题多项项,目前主持国家自然基金课题1项(60302015)、教育部全国百篇优秀博士论文作者专项基金1项。
唐小虎博士是IEEE会员,是IEEE Transactions on Information Theory、IEEE Transactions on Communications、IEEE Signal Processing Letter 和IEE Electronics Letters多种学术刊物特约审稿人。多次应邀赴德国Hagen大学、英国Leeds大学、日本Yamaguchi大学、澳大利亚Melbourne大学、香港科技大学访问。
目前主要研究兴趣为:通信序列设计、计算机网络与信息安全技术、信号设计与处理技术、编码理论。

m-Sequences have been used widely in many applications, but the corresp onding computation of the cor relation-detec-tion is overwhelming N2 operations, where N ist he length of the m-sequence, such that it is unpractical. In this paper, atrans form from p-ary m-sequence matrices to generalized Hadamard matrices is developed; and then by the fast generalized Hadamard matrices trans form, a fast p-ary m-sequence trans form is developed. The results show that the computation can be dramatically reduced from N2 to NlogpN operations, so the fast p-ary m-sequence trans form could enable a rapid correla- tion-detection at the receiver .

In this correspondence, a new class of pseudonoise sequences over GF (P), based on Gordon-Mills-Welch (GMW) sequences, is constructed. The sequences have the property that, in a specified zone, the out-of-phase autocorrelation and cross-correlation values are all equal to-1. Such sequences with low correlation zone (LCZ) are suitable for approximately synchronized code-division multiple-access (CDMA) system.

To eliminate co-channel and multipath interference, a spreading sequence set with a low or zero correlation zone can be used in an AS-CDMA system. Here, lower bounds on aperiodic and odd correlation of the sequences with equal energy and a low or zero correlation zone are presented.

The zero correlation zone (ZCZ) concept is extendcd from oncdimensional sequences to two-dimensional arrays. A class of binary arrays with ZCZ properties, based on two-dimensional mutually orthogoiial complemcntary codes, is presented.
