傅衣铭教授,1945年生,1968年毕业于湖南大学机械工程系机制专业,1969年至1978年在甘肃天水长城控制电器厂工作,1979年至1981年在同济大学结构理论研究所攻读固体力学硕士学位,自1982年始,在湖南大学从事固体力学的教学与科研工作,1986年至1988年在加拿大卡尔加里大学(The University of Calgary)进修,曾分别在加拿大、香港、美国的高校合作科研。现担任湖南大学工程力学系主任,固体力学学科责任教授,博士生导师,中国力学学会理事,中国振动工程学会理事,湖南省力学学会理事长,《固体力学学报》、《应用数学与力学》及《力学季刊》编委,《非线性动力学学报》副主编。傅衣铭教授的主要研究领域包括:弹塑性理论、复合材料力学、结构非线性动力学。发表学术论文100余篇,出版《结构非线性动力学分析》、《弹塑性理论》、《固体力学基础》、《连续介质力学基础》等专著与教材7部,系统地研究了一般铺设层合结构、具任意脱层层合结构、大空间运动板壳结构、裂纹转子结构等复杂非线性系统的静动力学问题,板壳及其组合结构的非线性蠕变响应及蠕变屈曲等问题,曾获省、部级奖励5项。

The chaotic motion of an elastic shaft-disk rotor system including the geometric nonlinearity of the shaft with a transverser crack is investigated. The critical condition for the system to enter chaotic state is given by the Melnikov method. Meanwhile, whether the chaos occurs is determined by the Poiacare map, phase portrait and time-displacement history diagram.

In this paper, the nonlinear dynamic stability of a rotating shaft-disk with a transverse crack is studied, The crack and the disk are located in arbitrary positions of the shaft respectively. Using the equivalent line-spring model, the deflections of the system with a crack are constructed by adding a deflection to the deflections of the uncracked system. The unstable regions are confirmed by Runge Kutta method and the Floquet theory. The effects of crack depth, crack position, disk position, disk thickness and rotating speed on the principal unstable regions are discussed. The numerical results are compared with available data.

Based on Hamilton's principle and the Timoshenko-Mindlin hypotheses on moderately thiek plates, a set of non-linear governing equations of motion for truncated conical moderately thick shells is sen up in large overall motion. By using the Galerkin method and the harmonic balance method, the problem of non-linear vibration of the truncated conical moderately thick shelts is analzed. The present results are compared with the available data for speciat cases.

The prolem of bearm-plates with as delamiation located at an arbitrary site undergjoing nonlinear free vibration without damp is investigated, For this problem. Noalinear govning equations a well as the contiunity. Equilibrium and compaibility conditions are esablished. The Galerkin method and harmorie balance method are employed to find solutions. Filnslly, in some examples. amplitude-frequeney curves of the deiaminated structure are presented in order to reveal some special dynamic features.

Non-linaear vibrations of generally larminateed circualr cylindrical shells are examined using the Timoshenko-Mindlin kinematic hypotheis and an extensin of te Donnell-type shell theory. The effects of transverse shear deformatoion. Rotatory inertia and geometricaly initial imperfection are included in te analysis. A soultion for non-linear free vibratins of these cylindrical shell is fromulated using a mulotimode apprjoach. The boudary condition for the varying rotational end stiffness in the cirrumferentail direcito is staisfied by replacement of the and bending moments by an equivalent lateral pressure ncar the shell ands. The Galerkin procedure furnishes an infinite postbukling behavior of the shell is trated as a specialcase. Numerical results in non-linear vibration. and postbuckling of cylindraical lamnates are presented grasphically for different parameters and comparedd with available data.

Based on Timosheko-Mindlin kinematic hypotheses and Hamilton's principle a system of equations of motion is derived for geometrically nonlinear behavior of generally lamineted cylindrical thick panels of geometric initial imperfections. The variation of rotational stiffness is assumed to be identical along opposite edges. A solution for nonlinear vibratin of these panels is formulated by use of a muliti-mode approach. The boundary condilion for the varying rotational siiffness is satisfied by replacemnent of the edge bending moments by an equivalent lateral pressure near the paneldeges as in a previous work. The Galerkin procedure furnishes an infunite set of equations for time-dependent coefficients which is solved by the method of harmonic balance. Int the post-buckling case the set of time equations reduces to algebraic equations. Numericall results in nonlinear vibratio and post-buckling are presesnted gruphically for different parameters and compared with avalible data.

A dynamic non-linear theory for generally laminated shallow clidrical shallow eylindrical panels is developed with the aid of Hamilton's principle. The effects of transverse shear deformatin. Rotatory inertia and geometrically initial imperfectin are included in the analysis. A multi-mode solution is formulated for non-linear free vibratin of an anti-symmetric angle-ply cylindrical lamminate with its edges elastically restained against roataion. The resulting equoations for time functions are solved by the mehod of harmonic balance. The postbuckling behavior of the panel is treated as a special case. Numerical results in non-linear vibration and posbuckling are presented for different values of the amplitude of iaitial imperfection. side-to-thickness ratio rotaional edge stiffiness,aspect ratio, orientation angle,number of layrs and material properies. Present results are compared with available data.

This paper deals with the static large deflpetion and the large amplitude free flexural ibration of a symmetrically laminated orthotropic eliiptical plted with a simply equations of the plated in terms of the deflection and two inplane displacemets is presented by use of a modified Galerkin procedure. Two inplance equations of equilibrium and the associted inplance bonndary eonditions are satified axaotly. Numerical Comatations are performed for stsatic and dynamic responses of homogenceous and symmetric cross-plyelliptical plates with different axes rations, numbers of layers and high-modulus material properties. In the static and dynamic linear caasea, preent reaults are compared with avaliable data.
