郑楚光,工学博士、教授、博士生指导教师,现任湖北省政协副主席、全国政协常委及煤燃烧国家重点实验室主任。多年从事煤的燃烧理论的研究和燃烧技术的开发工作。曾先后获得国家自然科学奖、国家科技攻关奖、省部级科技进步等10多项奖励。在国内外学术刊物和会议上发表科学论文200余篇,其中有60余篇被SCI、EI、ISPT、CA等索引收录;另有《燃烧原理》、《湍流反应流动的PDF模拟》、《弥散介质的光学特性及辐射传热》、《洁净煤技术》、《清洁燃烧》、《温室效应及其控制对策》、《燃煤痕量元素的排放与控制》和《流体动力学的格子Boltzmann方法》等八部著作出版.
近年从事的主要研究领域有:燃烧过程的数值模拟和数值计算、飞灰的辐射特性、煤灰的沉积特性和机理、煤的燃烧特性、计算机在电力系统的应用以及燃烧污染和防治等。承担有数十项国家重大、重点项目,先后被授予国家“有突出贡献的博士学位获得者”、省“有突出贡献的中青年专家”、湖北省劳动模范的称号;分别被聘为国家重点基础研究发展规划项目首席科学家、国家攀登计划项目专家、国家863计划领域专家、国务院学位委员会学科评议组成员、国家自然科学基金委员会学科评审专家、国家科技奖励专业评审组评委;为《工程热物理学报》、《燃烧科学与技术》、《煤炭转化》及国际学术刊物《Development in Chemical Engineering and Mineral Processing》、《Communications in Nonlinear Science & Numerical Simulation》等杂志编委;中国工程热物理学会常务理事,中国动力工程学会常务理事。

For tangential fired furnace, the false diffusion will occur when the flow is oblique to the grid lines. It is a major factor to cause serious errors to the prediction of tangential fired furnace. In order to decrease this false diffusion, this study has considered several alternative to the widely used upwind-differencing scheme with the aim of identifying which could be regarded as the most suitable in a general-purpose solving procedure for tangential furnace. The representations adopted are 'hybrid', 'quick' and '27-point' treatments. Here, '27-point' is a new discrete arithmetic scheme developed by the authors. All these schemes are used to simulate a constrained jet and a lab-scale tangential furnace and to compare solutions with the datum. Overall, the '27-point' approximation emerged as the most satisfactory for simulating tangential furnace.

A boundary treatment for curved walls in lattice Boltzmann method is proposed. The distribution frmction at a wall node who has a link across the physical boundary is decomposed into its equilibrium and nonequilibrium parts. The equilibrium part is then approximated with a fictitious one where the boundary condition is enforced, and the nonequilibrium part is approximated using a first-order extrapolation based on the nonequilibrium part of the distribution on the neighboring fluid node. Numerical results show that the present treatment is of second-order accuracy, and has well-behaved stability characteristics.

A second-order moment (SOM) model for gas-phase turbulence, combined with a Langevin-based probability density function (PDF) transport model for particle-phase turbulence, named SOM-PDF model for gas-particle turbulence, is proposed here. The SOM is solved by the well-known finite-volume method (FVM), while the PDF is solved by directly calculate the Langevin equation for both particle velocity and fluid velocities seen by particles, as proposed by Simonin (1996), using pseudo time-dependent Monte-Carlo method (MC). A time-averaged method is used to reduce the amount of stochastic-particle needed. The DSM-PDF model was applied to simulate a gas-particle turbulent flow in a pipe with expansion. The prediction results are compared with PDPA measured results and those predicted using the PDF derived ensemble-averaged stress model (ESM). The comparison shows that both models can well predict the averaged flow field of particle phase, while the DSM-PDF model got a better distribution of particle time-averaged velocity and fluctuation velocity at the area where shear is dominant. The difference may arise from several aspects: the merits of MC technology of no numerical diffusion, and most important, the capability of taken into account the effect of non-Gaussian distribution of particle velocities at shear dominant area, while Gaussian distribution is pre-assumed for ESM.

A second-order moment (SOM) gas-phase turbulence model, combined with a Monte-Carlo (MC) simulation of stochastic particle motion using Langevin equation to simulate the gas velocity seen by particles, is called an SOM-MC two-phase turbulence model. The SOM-MC model was applied to simulate swirling gas-particle flows with a swirl number of 0.47. The prediction results are compared with the PDPA measurement data and those predicted using the Langevin-closed unified second-order moment (LUSM) model. The comparison shows that both models give the predicted time-averaged flow field of particle phase in general agreement with those measured, and there is only slight difference between the prediction results using these two models. In the near-inlet region, the SOM-MC model gives a more reasonable distribution of particle axial velocity with reverse flows due to free of particle numerical diffusion, but it needs much longer computation time. Both models underpredict the gas and particle fluctuation velocities, compared with those measured. This is possibly caused by the particle-wall and particle-particle interaction in the near-wall region, and the effect of particles on dissipation of gas turbulence, which is not taken into account in both models.

We show discrcte lattice offects must be considered in the introduotion of a foree into the lattice Boltzmann equation, A representation of the forcing temp is then proposed. With the representation, the Navier-Stokes equation is derived from the lattice. Boltzmann equation through the Chapman-Enskng expansion. Several other exisling force treatments are also examined.

A lattice Bhatnagar-Gross-Krook (LBGK) model for reaction-diffusion systems is presented. This model provides a mesoscopic approach to the dynamics of spatially-distributed reacting systems. Pure diffusion phenomena are computed and the results are agreement with the theoretical predictions. This method is also applied to formation of Turing patterns in chloride-iodide-malonic acid (CIMA) reactive model. We get hexagonal structures and stripes which are agreement with other numerical results and experimental results.

The standard Lattice BGK (LBGK) scheme often encounters numerical instability in simulation of fluid flow with small kinematic viscosity or as the nondimensional relaxation timey is close to 0.5. In this paper, based on a timesplitting scheme for the Boltzmann equation with discrete velocities, a new LBGK scheme with general propagation step is proposed to address this problem. In this model, two free parameters are introduced into the propagation step, which can be adjusted to obtain a small kinematic viscosity and improved numerical stability as well. Numerical simulations of the two-dimensional Taylor vortex and the unsteady Womersley flow are carried out to test the kinematic viscosity, numerical diffusion, and numerical stability of the proposed scheme.

本文对具有不同温度竖壁的封闭容器中二维自然对流问题进行了直接数值模拟。控制方程在非均匀网格上使用空间二阶精度和时间一阶精度进行离散,程序是在国家高性能计算中心(武汉)的并行计算机曙光1000A上实现的。使用4个结点,获得的加速比和效率分别约为2.89和0.72。
