葛立峰,安徽大学电子科学与技术学院教授,博士生导师。毕业于合肥工业大学精密仪器专业,研究生毕业于中国科学院研究生院暨中国计量科学研究院应用力学专业。1992-1997年任安徽省计量测试研究所副所长,1997年由安徽大学211工程人才引进。1986.9-1988.9,美国国家标准局(NBS,现美国国家标准和技术研究院,NIST)声学测量研究室,获客座科学家荣誉证书。短期访问研究有:1995,英国伦敦城市大学(City Univ. London)电气电子和信息工程系,荣誉高级访问研究员(HSRF),英国皇家学会资助;2001,新加坡淡马锡理工学院(Temasek Polytechnic)工学院,访问学者;2005,日本大阪关西大学(Kansai Univ.)先端科技推进机构,访问教授;2007,台湾大学机械工程系,讲学研究,访问教授,台湾中华发展基金资助。现为全国机械振动与冲击标准化技术委员会委员,安徽省计量测试学会常务理事,中国传感器学会理事,美国声学学会(ASA)会员。主持完成国家自然科学基金项目2项,国家攀登计划项目1项,安徽省自然科学基金项目2项和安徽省年度重点项目1项;现主持国家自然科学基金项目1项。获得专利1项。获安徽省高等学校省级优秀科技成果奖二等奖和安徽省自然科学奖二等奖各1项,均为独立完成。获3次安徽省自然科学优秀学术论文一等奖。代表性研究论文发表在IEEE超声、铁电与频率控制学报,美国声学学会学报,科学通报,中国科学(A),中国科学(E),及国际重大学术会议上。

【期刊论文】A Design of High-Sensitivity Micromachined Capacitive Ultrasonic Mass Resonators

The TDK model originally developed for capacitive micromachined ultrasonic transducers (CMUT) is applied to the modeling and design of capacitive ultrasonic mass resonators (CUMR). The diaphragm of CUMRs is treated as a laminated plate in tension and supported by elastic foundation, and then its fundamental frequency can be expressed in terms of the stiffness of the diaphragm, tension in it, the electrostatic negative stiffness caused by bias voltage, the frequency parameter of the vibration of diaphragm, and area density of diaphragm. Furthermore, the mass sensitivity of CUMRs, which is intrinsically nonlinear, is derived and its first order approximation and the reference sensitivity are also defined. The design of CUMRs then can be computationally performed for different geometric dimensions of the device and the physical parameters of material used. Finally, a design of CUMRs is given based on the TDK model. Its fundamental frequency is 10.08MHz at bias voltage of 30V; the resonance frequency decreases as bias is increased and is down to 9.86MHz at 300V. The reference mass sensitivity is -1312cm2/g,so 1 Hz resonance frequency shift corresponds to an added mass of 76 pg/cm2. Comparing with piezoelectric ultrasonic mass resonators (PUMR), CUMRs can be an attractive choice for chemical and biological detections.

A theoretical model and mathematical description for silicon micromachined electrostatic or capacitive ultrasonic imaging transducers have been developed. According to the model the basic performance parameters of such a transducer, such as natural frequencies, eigenfunctions, resonance and anti-resonance frequencies, and the mechanical impedance of the diaphragm can be predicted from the geometry of the transducer and property parameters of materials used. The paper reveals that this type of transducers has two basic operation modes, corresponding to the resonance of a mass-spring oscillator comprised of the diaphragm and the air cushion, and the first-order bending mode of the diaphragm itself respectively, and presents an optimal method for extending the bandwidth by making the two modes coupled, and thereby provides a theoretical basis for the optimal design.
