方正,1967年毕业于中南矿冶学院,1978年考入中南工业大学,就读研究生,专攻冶金物理化学,先后获工学硕士和博士学位。1991年晋升为教授,国务院津贴获得者,曾高访于加拿大Manitoba大学,合作研究。现任中南大学图书馆馆长。曾主持、完成国家自然科学基金,国际合作和国家攻关等多个课题。应用电解场效理论设计具有国际水平的氢氧焊割机,在国内外著名刊物发表科学论文100余篇。1992年获国家教育部科技进步(甲类)二等奖,1988年获湖南省十大科技成果奖,宝钢教育基金优秀教师奖,多次获省人事厅、省科委、省科协及学会优秀学术论文奖,学校科技成果奖及学校科技贡献奖。

The thermoelectrochemistry (TEC), a novel cross discipline, is presented, including the basic equations for a cell and a half-cell reaction, the treatment of experimental data and its application to electro-generative leaching of mineral and to measuring thermodynamic and kinetic data of an electrode reaction. The TEC technology will play an important part in the research on the metallurgical process under various fields.

A generative principle was applied to FeCl3 leaching of galena for the first time in this study. It has been confirmed that a certain quantity of electrical energy, as well as the leached products, could be obtained during the leaching process. The factors affecting the power output, such as electrode structure, temperature, agitation, solution compositions and concentration, and the connections between catholyte and anolyde compartments were investigated by a dual cell system. The experiments indicated that the interior resistance of the leaching system and the activation of the electrode are of key importance. Agitation speeds have little influence over a certain value. The effects of ferric chloride concentration in the leaching are similar to the traditional leaching. The activation energy was determined to be 14.96kJmol-1 for FeCl3 leaching of galena under the present conditions.

The nonstoichiometry of the equilibrium phases is an important aspect in the study of equilibrium between transition-metals and their oxides. This paper reports our measurement on the deviation from stoichiometry in oxygen-deficient MoO2-x. A diagram showing real oxygen potential isotherms for non-stoichiometric MoO2 and Mo in equilibrium was given. The correction for the standard free energy of formation of MoO2 has been conducted and the Smiltens' intergration used for the pure metal side has been discussed.

据等温等压多相平衡Gibbs能最小原理并应用Lagrange未定乘数法导出多元系组元化学位和平衡成分关系式。由此给出三元系两相共存区边界上由一已知组元活度计算它组元活度的解析递推式。该结果被推广到k元k-1相平衡共存区相界。计算结果与实验值符合得较好。

A new method has been developed to solve the problem of complete integration of the Gibbs-Duhem equation along phase boundaries in a c-eomponent and c-l-phase system. Two variables, (△1)1i=Di D1i and (△i)1i=D1 D1i, are introduced into the Gibbs-Duhem equation for multicomponent systems. And the function φ suggested by Chou for use in a miscibility gap of ternary systems is extended. Activities of componention whole phase boundaries may be calculated from the known experimental values of α1 by means of the modified Gibbs-Duhem equation without integral difficulties.

本文使用自行设计的热重装置对MoO2-M0系中间氧化物热力学稳定性及金属-氧化物平衡作TH2O/H2气氛下气态平衡法的研究。在PH2O/PH2从0.123到0.507,温度由625至912℃范围内直接测定了反应1 2MoO2+H2=1 2Mo+H2O(g)的平衡常数。平衡常数Kp与绝对温度T之间的关系可表达为方程:lgKp=1.612-2257.7 T。实验表明,MosO,MoO和Mo2O3等中间氧化物在本研究的温度和氧压范围内不能作为热力学稳定相存在。
