通过观测7-羟基喹啉(7HQ)在甲基丙烯酸甲脂(MMA)和甲基丙烯酸(MAA)以不同配比共聚的基质中的吸收光谱和荧光光谱,研究基质对7HQ各物种相对含量的变化和对7HQ激发态质子转移的影响。结果表明基质中羧基数目增加,可使7HQ各物种的相对含量发生变化,并有利于7HQ发生激发态质子转移。

The dynamic process of 7-hydroxyquinoline with excited state proton transfer has been studied by the pump-probe method in which a three-dimensional degenerate four-wave mixing technique is employed for the probe. The molecular hyperpolarizability and lifetime of the excited state involved in the excited state proton transfer process of 7-hydroxyquinoline are obtained in our experiment. The decay time of the cation excited state is 35ps and the decay time of the anion excited state is 250ps. Energy levels of Pr3+ in SrxBa1-xNb2O6 (SBN) crystal are determined by absorption spectroscopy. The broad band fluorescence spectrum is identified by exciting Pr3+ with laser radiation of different wavelengths, and by phase-resolved spectroscopy. The lifetime of the excited state 3P0 is measured at various temperatures. Calculations of the transition rates of spontaneous radiation and radiationless relaxation demonstrate that the decay of 3P0 state is dominated by a multiphonon relaxation.

All-optical switching and beam deflection of 2-(2'-hydroxyphenyl) benzoxazole (HBO) in three species of solvent (cyclohexane, ethanol and dimethyl sulfoxide) have been investigated by using third-harmonic generation (355nm) of a modelocked Nd:YAG laser as a pump beam and a continuous-wave He-Ne laser (632.8nm) as a probe beam. The nonlinear refractive indices of HBO in different solvents are determined by using the Z-scan technique. The optical switching and beamdeflection effects are due to the change of the refractive index of HBO under the pump beam. Through the study of the absorption spectra and the fluorescence spectra of HBO in different solvents, we conclude that the principal reason for the change of the refractive index of HBO is not the thermal effect because of absorption of the pump beam, but the excited-state intramolecular proton-transfer (ESIPT) effect of HBO under the pump beam. As the ESIPT process is very fast, HBO might be an excellent material for high-speed optical switching.

测量了LiNbO3∶Eu3+晶体的吸收、激发和发射光谱,较全面地确定了Eu3+的能级位置。观测了该晶体的荧光发射强度随温度的变化,研究了Eu3+在LiNbO3晶体中的无辐射跃迁机理。

Nonlinear transmission property of excited state proton transfer molecule 2-(2'-hydroxyphenyl) benzoxazole was investigated at 355nm and 532nm using picosecond laser pulses. The experiment result shows that the transmissivity of 2-(2'-hydroxyphenyl) benzoxazole is nonlinear at 355nm but it is linear at 532nm. The nonlinear transmissivity of 2-(2'-hydroxyphenyl) benzoxazole originates from the larger nonlinearity of tautomer formed in excited state proton transfer process. Therefore 2-(2'-hydroxyphenyl) benzoxazole might be used as ultrafast optical amplitude limit material.

利用Z-扫描技术在透明区域研究了Fe2O3纳米微粒水溶胶和表面包覆有机溶胶的非线性光学特性,给出了非线性折射率γ、双光子吸收系数β、自由载流子折射系数σr和自由载流子吸收截面σab等重要物理参数,讨论了自由载流子效应对Fe2O3纳米微粒非线性特性的影响。

Nonlinear refractive indexes n2 of 2-(2'-hydroxyphenyl) benzoxazole (HBO) in three species of solvent (cyclohexane, ethanol and dimethyl sulfoxide) have been determined by using the Z-scan technique. The experimental results show that the n2 of HBO is strongly dependent on the polarity of the solvent. Through the study on the absorption and fluorescence spectra of HBO in different solvents, we regard that the principal origin of the nonlinear refractive index of HBO is not the thermal effect because of absorption of incident light but the excited state intramolecular proton transfer of HBO under the incident light.

Nonlinear refraction index n2 of 7-hydroxyquinoline in different solvents was measured using Z-scan techniques with picosecond laser pulse. The effect of solvent on the nonlinear refraction index n2 of 7-hydroxyquinoline was investigated. The origination of this effect was due to the interaction between 7-hydroxyquinoline and the solvent molecules via H-bond.

本文通过观测7HQ在固态基质中的吸收光谱,研究7HQ被紫外光照射后物种的变化。表明光照前分子主要以烯醇构型存在。受紫外光337.1nm照射后部分烯醇构型转变为酮式构型和其它构型。样品被光照后存放2个月,其吸收光谱仍保持不变。这些结果说明7HQ在光存储方面有潜在的应用前景。
