The non-thermal plasma created by high voltage pulsed power supply can be used to remove sulfur dioxide in the air, but how to increase the removing efficiency is not clear. It is novel to apply the magnetic field in removing S02 as discussed in this paper. The mechanisms of removing sulfur dioxide by non-thermal plasma along with the application of the magnetic field are analyzed, and the related factors affecting the removal efficiency, such as the magnitude of pulsed voltage, the polarity of the pulse, the layout of the discharge electrode, especially the magnetic field are experimentally investigated. It can be concluded that the purification efficiency is improved significantly by applying the magnetic field.

A new research method is proposed for the medium-voltage (MV) vacuum circuit breaker’s (CB’s) mechanical condition monitoring, which combines the mechanism dynamic features simulation and mechanical condition recognition algorithm based on artificial neural networks (ANNs). This method includes three steps: First, the relations between eigenvalues and mechanical failures of a vacuum circuit breaker (CB) through simulation instead of measurement are obtained. In this paper, the mechanism dynamic features of a vacuum CB in failure are simulated; the simulation results indicate that the parameter that can be monitored—main angle—has different characters for different mechanism failures. Second, the eigenvalues for different failure conditions are described by three parameters. Third, mechanical condition recognition of the MV vacuum CB by an algorithm based on ANN is realized. It is concluded by the work mentioned above, both the known mechanical condition type and the new mechanical condition type of the medium-voltage vacuum CB can be recognized with predetermined reliability.

This paper is devoted to the simulation of the arc plasma in a simplified low-voltage circuit breaker chamber. Based on a group of coupled governing equations, a three-dimensional (3-D) arc plasma model is built and solved by a modified commercial code. Firstly, this paper presents a solution of the stationary state of the arc plasma and discusses the distribution of some parameters throughout the chamber. Secondly, with the ferromagnetic materials included, the balance of the stationary state is broken and a transient course is calculated. In light of the simulation results, the temperature distribution sequence, the arc motion and the plasma jet are then described and analyzed in detail.

It is novel to apply magneticfleld in the indoor air puriflcation by collecting pre-charged suspended particles. Based on experiments and analysis of relative data, the effects of some influential factors (the number of discharge electrode, the polarity and magnitude of discharge voltage, the di rection and magnitude of magneticfleld, the initial velocity of charged particles, the distance between particle collecting plates) on the effciency of air puriflcation are discussed. The results indicate that the puriflcation effciency is improved by applying the proper magneticfleld, -6kV direct current voltage is an optimal voltage and there are optimal magnitudes of the distance between collecting plate and the initial velocity of particles in the puriffcation process.

A dynamic model for a medium-voltage vacuum circuit breaker is constructed using the ADAMS software. The model is used to investigate the mechanical characteristics of the circuit breaker under the influence of electrodynamic forces. The characteristics are also investigated experimentally. The simulated and experimental results are in close agreement. It is shown that electrodynamic force increases the breaking speed of the moving contacts by 0.2m/s. The model can be used to highlight design criteria for the optimal operation of medium-voltage circuit breakers.

建立了高压自能式SF6断路器电弧的磁流体动力学(MHD)数学模型,此模型创新地考虑了传导散热对喷口材料烧蚀,进而对电弧及气流场产生影响,即同时计入了电弧能量以辐射和传导方式烧蚀喷口材料,并考虑了喷口材料烧蚀所产生的蒸气带来的影响。通过对比考虑传导散热与不考虑传导散热两种情况下的开断过程中气流场的分布及变化,深入研究了灭弧室内电弧能量的传递方式。根据文中的计算条件和结果,得出考虑传导散热时,电弧最高温度为不考虑传导散热时的90%。最后,从电弧能量利用角度出发,就灭弧室结构参数对开断性能的影响进行了研究。

将开关设备在线状态监测技术与微电子技术相结合,提出了开关设备在线状态监测系统级专用芯片的设计方案。该芯片集采集、计量、通信、调度功能于一体,配以少量外围器件,就可以实时监测开关设备的温度、机械、绝缘等各项状态参数,而且可以与上位机通信。与以往使用单片机进行在线状态监测相比,专用芯片具有可靠性高、通用性强、成本低等优点,代表了在线监测技术未来发展的方向。通过用现场可编程门阵列(FPGA)进行硬件仿真,验证了该设计的正确性。

探讨了目前小容量控制电器用国产AgNi触头材料在运行过程中存在的关键问题;研究了电器触头的熔焊机理;针对现有国产AgNi触头材料及小容量控制电器的灭弧结构和原理,提出了增加触头抗熔焊性能的新思路,并制作样品。装机试验表明,文章中介绍开发的小容量控制电器用新型AgNi基触头在660V、16A、AC24工作类别下电寿命比原触头的提高5倍以上,其它电接触性能没有下降,制造成本还略有降低。

针对单线圈单稳态永磁式接触器,采用仿真和试验的方法对永磁机构接触器的静态和动态动作特性进行了研究。首先,利用ANSYS 软件包采用有限元模型,进行了动铁心静态吸力的仿真;其次,耦合电压平衡和达朗贝尔机械运动特征微分方程,在上述静态仿真的基础上进行了动铁心动态吸力的仿真。然后,利用ADAMS 软件构建操动机构的机械模型,仿真动触头和动铁心的位移-时间特性。最后,设计试验用原型机进行试验,对仿真结果和试验结果进行对比分析,显示动触头动作特性仿真和试验结果一致性很好。

对AgCdO触头材料及具有不同添加剂的AgsnO2触头材料(AgsnO2In2O3、AgsnO2Bi2O3、AgsnO2wO3)进行了大量分断电弧侵蚀试验和微观分析;比较研究了不同的第二相金属氧化物对触头材料电弧侵蚀机理的影响;分析了微量添加剂对电弧侵蚀特性和表面形貌特征的作用;最后,基于触头材料中气体相及晶问侵蚀作用,探讨了触头基体微裂纹形成与扩展机理。
