李劼,男,1963年10月生,中南工业大学有色冶金系有色冶金专业博士研究生毕业,工学博士,现任中南大学校长助理、冶金科学与工程学院院长,教授,博士生导师,享受国家政府特殊津贴专家。全国铝电解学术委员会副主任委员。研究领域涉及有色冶金新技术与新材料、冶金过程计算机仿真与智能控制、工业电化学等多学科交叉领域。截至到2006年4月,先后主持国家973项目课题2项、国家863项目2项、国家自然科学基金项目1项,国家技术创新项目与国家重点技术开发项目4项、国家重点新产品项目2项、国家产业技术开发专项2项。申请国家发明专利15项(已获授权6项)。获国家科技进步二等奖1项、省部级科技进步一等奖2项、二等奖3项,三等 奖2项。发表学术论文100余篇。曾获“湖南青年科技奖”、“湖南杰出青年科技创新奖”,“中国优秀青年科技创新奖”、“教育部跨世纪优秀人才”、“湖南十大杰出青年”、“湖南省121人才工程第一层次人才”等奖励与称号。

TiB2/C cathode composites with various contents of TiB2 were prepared and their characterizations were observed and compared. The expansion of samples due to sodium and bath penetration was tested with a modified laboratory Rapoport apparatus and the ap pearances of the cut sections of specimens after electrolysis were studied. The results show that the mass of TiB2/C cathode composites with mass fraction of TiB2 less than 70% appreciably increases, but that of the composites with mass fraction of TiB2 more than 70% decreases slightly after being baked. The resistance to sodium and bath penetration of TiB2/C cathode composites increases with the increase of TiB2 content, especially in the composites with high TiB2 content. TiB2/C cathode composites have high resistance to the penetration of sodium and bath as well as good wettability by molten aluminum, and keep integrality and have little change of appearance after electrolysis, which indicates that TiB2/C cathode composites can be used as inert wettable cathode for aluminum electrolysis.

A 2D full cell thermo-electric model of 160kA drained cell was set up using finite element code to calculate its freeze profile, then the drained cell model was modified according to the freeze profile computed and its heat balance was calculated. Compared with that of a 160kA conventional Hall-Heroult cell (H-H cell), though the melts vol-ume of the drained cell reduced greatly, the whole heat loss from it didn't drop down apparently, and an analysis was presented in the paper. On the other hand, the anode-cathode distance (ACD) of a drained cell was much less than that of a H-H cell, so the voltage drop on it and heat produced decreased too, steps should be taken to keep a workable heat balance on a drained cell.

A mathematical model describing the bubble driven bath flow in a drained cell with a center sump was presented,which spanned the fluid around half an anode and was developed to simulate the flowfields. The calculated results show reasonableagreement with the experiment. Then the model was developed to a full cell model, and bath flow pattern in the whole cell waspredicted and analyzed. The flow pattern variation with the changes of the ACD, anode slope, anode immersion depth and currentdensity, especially the fluid secondary recirculation, was modeled. According to the results, side channel or slots feeding tech-nique was recommended in such a drained cell.

Airbum reaction and carboxy reaction resulti Ja the excess consumption of carbon anode in aluminum electrolysis. To reduce the excess carbon consumption, carbon anode was doped with aluminum-containing additives, such as A1, A14C3, A1F3 and AlzO3. Their reactivity in air and CO2 was deterartined with an isothermal-gravimetric method to study the effect of aluminum-containing additives on the reactivity in air and Co2 of carbon anode. Results shown that the airbum reactivity at 450℃ and carboxy reactivity at 970℃ of carbon anode both decreased with Al-containing additives adding, while shown a minimum with the amount of A14C3, AIF3 and A1203 increasing. However, all Al-containing additives increase the airbum reactivity at 550 of carbon anodes. Coke yield measurement and XRD examination with aluminum containing additives doped pitch cokes revealed that the effect of Al-containing additives on the airbum reactivity and carboxy reactivity of car-bon anode would result from chemical factors and structural factors.

提出一种综合应用在线智能辨识、多控制模式与自决策机制以及变论域技术的新型模糊专家控制方法,并应用于铝电解槽氧化铝浓度等重要工艺参数的实时控制。基于该控制方法的智能控制器在实施控制的同时,对被控对象施加“激励”并通过模糊推理对可测变量与不可测的被控变量间的特征关系(特征曲线)及工作点在特征曲线上的位置进行在线智能辨识,同时依据辨识结果自动调整模糊变量的论域和进行控制模式选择,实现自适应、自学习功能并增强鲁棒性。在铝电解槽的应用结果表明,采用该控制方法能较好地控制氧化铝浓度。

A room temperature physical model was used to study the bubble behavior and gas induced bath circulation ina drained aluminum reduction cell. By passing compressed argon through the penetrated Plexiglas box bottom plate im-mersed in water, gas evolution at the anode bottom surface was simulated. Bubble behavior and liquid flow field werestudied and analysis was presented. Bath secondary recirculation was observed in the interpolar gap not the net rising flowas expected. Liquid driven by the bubbles forms small vortices along the interpolar gap with small mean and turbulent ve-locities and accordingly poor mass transfer. Secondary recirculation also exists between the slot and interpolar gap, part ofthe flow in the interpolar gap go to the slot with the bubbles and fluid at the bottom of the slot enters the interpolar gap di-rectly without going to the center channel. The existence of the fluid secondary recirculation is very unfavorable to the alu-mina dissolution and dispersion. Increasing the anode tilt or gas flow rate, or decreasing the anode cathode distance canmake the secondary recirculation in the interpolar gap weak, however, will intensify the secondary recirculation betweenthe slot and interpolar gap.

Recent development of inert anodes for the primary aluminium industry was reviewed. The preparation method of functionally gradient material was introduced into inert anode research area, and a research flow sheet of func-tionally gradient cermet inert anode was set down. In order to carry out the preparation and optimization of composite ox-ides as the ceramic matrix of cermet inert anode, the following problems: solid state reaction synthesis of complex oxides, corrosion mechanism of complex oxides in Na3AlF6-Al-O3 melts, effects of NiO content on the corrosion rate and resistivi-ty at high temperature of NiFe-O4-NiO ceramics were studied. The preparation and sintering mechanism of NiFe-O4 based cermets were deeply studied to properly control the sintering atmosphere and temperature system. By efficaciously control-ling the sintering atmosphere, the oxidization of metallic phase and the decomposition or deoxidization of ceramic phase are avoided effectively during the sintering process of cermets at various temperatures. By optimizing the composition recipe and sintering temperature system, cermets of relatively high density are prepared without the spillage or asymmetric distri-bution of metallic phase.

将某厂现有的160kA Hall-Heroult铝电解槽改造成导流槽后,在阴极上表面和阳极底面呈斜坡状的条件下,计算了采用不同阴极导杆安装方式时阴极的电位和电流分布,即通过建立导流槽内部从阳极到阴极的一个半切片电热场模型,用有限元法分别对水平和平行于阴极斜坡两种不同导流槽阴极导杆的安装方式下阴极电位和表面电流密度分布进行了计算。结果表明,不同的阴极导杆安装方法对导流槽阴极的总电位降大小没有明显影响,但是水平阴极导杆安装更有利于阴极表面电流密度的均匀分布。

根据傅里叶传热定律和基尔霍夫导电定律,建立了预焙阳极铝电解槽阳极传热、导电的数学模型。用三维控制容积法推导了传热、导电的有限差分方程。在合适的边界条件假定下,采用C语言编程对其进行耦合数值求解,以此确定阳极内部的电位分布和温度分布,并分析了阳极的热平衡状态。通过模拟计算给出阳极和钢爪尺寸对电、热场和热平衡的影响,以此指导设计出阳极电位降尽可能小和散热量尽可能少的阳极和钢爪尺寸。

Experimental technique has been inadequate to anodic overvoltage measurements in aluminum electrolysis. To determine its ohmic/voltage drop precisely, a current interruption technique was modified with a high frequency digital os-cilloscope, current interrupters with fast switching time, an improved cell configuration and a simulation applied to the os-cillating potential decay curve. The results show that the technique can give good reproducibility for overvoltage studies. A substantial increase of anodic overvoltage is observed with graphite powder addition, metallic aluminum addition and CO bubbling in the melts.
