陈水挟,男,1963年7月出生。广东省惠来县人。博士,教授。1984年获化学专业理学学士学位,1987年获理学硕士学位,1999年获高分子化学与物理专业博士学位。2004年评为教授,同年获博士生导师资格。目前主要从事功能纤维材料的教学和研究工作。任广东省材料研究学会副秘书长,广东省材料研究学会能源与环境材料专业委员会副主任,中国材料研究学会环境材料分会委员。任《功能材料》、《广东化工》编委,《polymer》通讯审稿人。
主要从事功能纤维材料的研究工作,包括:活性碳纤维的制备、结构和性能研究;多孔碳材料在污水处理及饮水净化等方面的应用研究;多孔碳材料在大气净化及有机溶剂回收方面的应用研究;多孔碳材料在贵金属提取或回收方面的应用研究;多孔碳材料对放射性物质的吸附及其应用研究;新型多孔碳材料的开发及应用。曾主持国家自然科学基金、教育部重点科技项目、广东省科技计划重点项目、广州市攻关计划项目多项。在活性碳纤维的制备、结构表征、性能评价的理论及应用研究等方面,发表论文40多篇,申请国家发明申请专利9项。主要科研成果包括:(1)高性能多孔碳材料的结构设计及制备;(2)对放射性氙氡气体具高吸附能力的活性炭纤维材料设计及其在核爆试验的监控的应用(3)活性炭纤维对贵金属离子的还原吸附应用。(4)抗菌活性炭纤维材料研制。(5)有机废气净化材料的研制及其设备开发。

活性炭纤维对氙的吸附容量与其孔结构密切相关。为了提高活性炭纤维对氙气的吸附容量,本文分别用亚甲基蓝、对硝基苯酚等有机物,或氯化钠、碘等无机化合物填充的方法修饰活性炭纤维的孔结构;以及利用高锰酸钾或硝酸等氧化处理修饰活性炭纤维的表面化学性质。同时,利用低温氮等温吸附表征了这些改性活性炭纤维的孔结构,以及通过光电子能谱表征了改性活性炭纤维的表面化学结构。上述化合物充填或氧化改性活性炭纤维对氙的吸附性能的研究结果表明,适量化合物填充,或合适浓度硝酸对活性炭纤维的表面处理,可以有效地修饰活性炭纤维的孔结构或改变活性炭纤维表面对氙的亲和力,因而可有效地提高改性活性炭纤维对氙的吸附容量。

在一高1200mm、直径40mm的三相流化床实验装置上,采用压降法和取样法测定了不同操作条件下剑麻基活性炭纤维在床内沿轴向的分布特征。结果表明,在一定液速和气速下,气含率沿床高增加,而液含率及固含率则逐渐降低;一定液速下提高气速,床中的混合程度增大,而一定气速下提高液速,床中的离集(分级)程度增大。该研究成果可为活性炭纤维流态化吸附回收贵金属过程的放大和操作提供依据。

The reduction property of activated carbon fibers (ACFs) enables them to be used in the recovery of noble metals fromwastewater, or in the extraction of gold or silver from ore leaching solutions. In order to effectively recover or extract noblemetals, it is important to enhance the reduction capacity of ACFs and to improve the particle size of the noble metal reducedand adsorbed on the surface of activated carbon fibers. In this paper, the effect of the preparation method and surfacemodification of ACFs on their reduction capacity was studied. The results show that the preparation methods of ACFs havesignificant influence on their reduction-adsorption capacities for silver ions in solution-those ACFs prepared withphosphoric acid or zinc chloride activation have much higher reduction capacities. Moreover, surface modification of ACFswith some inorganic oxidants such as nitric acid, potassium permanganate, or hydrogen peroxide, though resulting in a smalldecrease of specific surface area or pore volume, will enhance the reduction capacity of oxidized ACFs for silver ions.Furthermore, methylene blue, aniline, or p-nitrophenol present in solution or adsorbed on ACFs can also significantlyincrease the reduction capacities of sisal-based ACFs for silver ions

Activated carbon fiber is one kind of important adsorption materials. These novel fibrousadsorbents have high specific surface areas or abundant functional groups, which make them havegreater adsorption/desorption rates and larger adsorption capacities than other adsorbents. They canbe prepared as bundle, paper, cloth and felt to meet various technical requirement. They also showreduction property. In this paper the latest progress on the studies of the preparation and adsorptionproperties of activated carbon fibers is reviewed. The application of these materials in drinking waterpurification, environmental control, resource recovery, chemical industry, and in medicine and healthcare is also presented.

The reduction adsorption of silver diamminonitrate on different kinds of activated carbonfibers (ACF) has been studied in this paper. The effect of different parameters, including adsorptiontemperature, concentrations of activation agents, and activation time on the silver adsorptioncapacities of activated carbon fibers has been investigated. The results show that higher temperaturein which the silver complex interacts with ACF, or higher concentration of activation agent, willmake higher reduction adsorption capacities of ACFs. More over, ACFs activated with phosphoricacid have higher reduction capacities than those activated with zinc chloride or steam.

Several kinds of activated carbon fibers, using sisal fiber as precursors, were preparedwith steam activation or with ZnCl2 activation. Zinc or its compounds were dispersed in them. Theantibacterial activities of these activated carbon fibers were determined and compared. The researchresults showed that these sisal based activated carbon fibers supporting zinc have strongerantibacterial activity against Escherichia coli and S. aureus. The antibacterial activity is related tothe precursors, the pyrolysis temperature, and the zinc content. In addition, small quantity of silversupported on zinc-containing ACFs will greatly enhance the antibacterial activity of ACFs.
