段吉安,男,1969年12月出生,1996年于西安交通大学获博士学位,现为中南大学教授、博士生导师,机电工程学院冶金机械研究所副所长。教育部创新团队“现代复杂装备与极端制造”带头人,教育部新世纪优秀人才,中国机械工程学会微纳米技术分会委员,中国电子学会电子机械分会委员,国家自然科学基金、国家863项目同行评议专家,参加国家自然科学基金委员会机械学科的《“十一五”发展规划》的撰写和研讨。在先进制造技术与装备、机电控制等领域,承担或完成国家973、国家自然科学基金重点项目、国家计委攻关、博士点基金等国家及省部级项目10余项,对光电子和微电子器件制造、精密流变成形等先进制造技术、制造界面行为、精密测试、装备分析设计与精密控制进行了深入研究。在材料精密成形方面,阐明了塑性流变界面的多过程耦合机理与系统动力学规律,解决了冷轧机、平整机等装备因界面失稳引起的剧烈振动问题;在电子制造方面,阐明了耦合器等典型光纤器件的微观结构、光学性能与制造参数的相关机制,建立了其制造过程的分析模型和相应软件,提出了新一代装备的单元技术。获中国高校十大科技进展和部级一、二等奖各1项,专利授权5项,发表论文60余篇,SCI、EI检索30篇次。

With Al2O3 and SiO2 as polishing medium, under different polishing conditions, e. g. with different pol-ishing pressure, polishing time and polishing fluid, the influences of polishing t reatment on the return loss of optical fiber connectors were investigated. The return loss of optical fiber connectors is 32 38 dB before polishing. The re-sult s show that dry polishing (i. e. no polishing fluid) with Al2O3 has less influence on return loss of optical fiber connectors, while dry polishing with SiO2 reduces return loss to about 20 dB because of the end-face of optical fiber contaminated. The wet polishing (i. e. using distilled water as polishing fluid) with Al2O3 or SiO2 can increase return loss to 45-50dB, but wet polishing with Al2O3 may produce optical fiber undercut depth of 80-140nm. Wet polis-hing with SiO2 should be preferentially selected for optical fiber connectors and polishing time should be cont rolled within 20-30s.

To obtain excellent performance optical fiber couplers, the structural difference of SiO2 in couplers with differ-ent manufacturing techniques was investigated. With 7402FT2IR infrared spectrometric analyzer, the infrared absorption spectrum of SiO2 in couplers at different drawing velocities was measured, and two characteristic peaks in the wavenumber range of 650 2000 cm-1 were observed. One characteristic peak is at about 943 cm-1, which is attributed to Si-O-Si bond asymmetric stretching vibration, the other is at about 773 cm-1, which is attributed to Si-O-Si bond symmetric stretching vibration. From the infrared spectrum, it is found that the intensity and wavenumber of the characteristic peaks are related to the manufacturing technique of couplers. The characteristic peak at about 943 cm-1 becomes steeper when increasing the drawing velocity. At the drawing velocity of 150μm/s, the distance between the two characteristic peaks is maximum, and then the optical fiber coupler has excellent performance, indicating that the performance of the optical fiber coupler has a close relationship with the wavenumber of the two characteristic peaks.

Anewalgorithm of the minimum zone method for evaluating form error-the valid characteristic point method with the rapidly contracted constraint zone-is put forward in this paper. Its mathematical model is established and its fundamentals are illustrated in detail, also its process of computation is described. The essence of this new algorithm is to search out the geometric characteristic parameters of the enveloping feather of the minimum zone, such as the normal vectors of the enveloping planes for flatness error and the coordinates of the center of the enveloping circle for roundness error. Based on searching for the characteristic points by applying the judging criteria of the minimum zone, the new algorithm sets up automatically a constraint zone of the geometric characteristic parameters of the enveloping feathers of the minimum zone and contracts it rapidly. This algorithm searches the geometric characteristic parameter of the enveloping feather of the minimum zone efficiently and can iterate the minimum value of the form error quickly. A large number of examples indicate that this new algorithm has many advantages such as a high proportion of success in first searching, fast calculation speed and few turns of iteration. Also, it can be applied to a computer-assisted instrumentation system on line.

Based on a series of tests, the chatter of temper rolling has been studied. It is shown that the temper rolling chatter is self-excited vibration and its cause is the rolling interface where partial fluid lubrication and viscous-slip co-exist.

Mill chatter is a notorio/ls condition in the high speed strip rolling process, having a behavior that is complex and changeful. During fieldwork to measure the vibration in high speed rolling mills, a frequency modulation phenomenon was identified, which had not beea reported in the strip rolling community. This article makes a theoretical investigation of the newly encountered phenomenon in the strip rolling process. According to an analysis of the mill roller bearings, the periodic change of stiffness of the bearings at the fixed load orientation, together with the periodic change o f the effective en-ors of the bearings, may ca use mnplimde mul frequency modulation, based on the theories of Fourier series and Bessel functions. The compmison between test results and theoretical analysis implies that the frequency modulation is caused by the effective en-ors of the mill roller bemings, that have 12 ripples on the internal ring.

轧制界面作为轧制过程的工作界面,其动力学特性对轧机振动有决定性影响。作者分析了动态情况下轧制界面上的金属塑性流动、界面摩擦学、工作辊运动等行为机理及其耦合特性;通过研究工作辊振动对界面润滑膜厚的影响以及界面动态摩擦学行为对金属塑性流动的影响,建立了轧制界面的动力学模型,并对轧制界面的阻尼特性进行了数值仿真。研究结果表明:在混合润滑条件下,轧制界面因润滑膜厚动态变化可产生负阻尼,界面阻尼的大小与轧制工艺、轧辊表面状态、润滑剂特性等参数密切相关,为解释轧机自激振动机理、控制或消除轧机颤振提供了理论基础。

对某平整机的颤振进行了一系列工业试验研究,分析计算了平整机的振动频率、固有频率以及可能的外激励频率。发现平整机的颤振为自激振动,其核心频率为584Hz,与平整机的固有频率一致,但不存在相应频率的外激励。平整机自激振动的根源在于轧制界面的负阻尼特性。研究结果表明,目前的平整工艺使得平整机轧制界面具有部分流体润滑和干摩擦粘滑运动共存的摩擦学行为,导致界面产生负阻尼。
