高锦章,男,教授,博士生导师,中共党员,1939年12月生于山东。1961年兰州大学化学系毕业后在西北师范大学化学系任助教、讲师,1986年破格晋升为教授。曾任化学研究所所长,化学系系主任,化学化工学院院长,中国化学会理事及分析化学专业委员会委员,《化学通报》编委;甘肃化学会常务理事兼分析化学专业委员会主任。现为化学化工学院教授,博士生导师;西北师大科技创新01号项目(300万元)总负责人;《环境化学》、《化学教育》、《甘肃科学》学报编委;甘肃省高等学校高级职称评审委员会委员兼化学学科组组长,甘肃省自然科学研究系列高级职称评审委员会委员。
主要研究方向有:(1)溶液中稀土配合物的光谱化学——4f电子的成键性质及其分析应用;(2)高温固液熔融萃取;(3)光度分析中的高灵敏高选择性反应及其分析应用;(4)化学振荡现象在分析化学中的应用;(5)低温等离子体化学,(6)纳米材料的制备与应用等,上述研究成果达到了国际先进水平。合著与独著教材及专著5部;发表论文200余篇,其中国际核心刊物百余篇,主要刊物有:Analyst;Anal.Chim.Acta,;J.Electroanal.Chem;Anal. Lett.;Talanta ; Materials Chemistry and Physics,;Thin Solid Film,;Plasma Science & Technology; Electroanlysis; Laboratory Robotics and Automation等; 先后获甘肃省教委科技进步一等奖7次,2、3等奖10多次,甘肃省科技进步2等奖1次,3等奖6次。3次获国家自然科学基金资助,6次获甘肃省自然科学基金资助,长期承担甘肃省教委重大研究课题。在应用研究方面,与金川有色金属公司合作,参与主持了5个重大课题,其中3项通过省级鉴定,属国内领先水平,国内首创;另一项亦通过省级鉴定,属国际先进水平。
1978年获甘肃省先进科技工作者称号,1984年被人事部授予国家级有突出贡献的中青年专家称号,1990年获国务院特殊津贴,1991年被国家教委和人事部授予国家级有突出贡献的留学回国人员称号,1993年获国家教委曾宪梓教育基金奖,1997年获甘肃省园丁奖,1998年被教育部和人事部授予获“全国教育系统劳动模范及全国模范教师”称号。

Contact glow discharge electrolysis (CGDE) of two dyes, weak acid brilliant red B and weak acid flavine G, was investigated under different concentrations, temperature and mediums. From the variation of their concentration with thereactiontime,itwasdemonstratedthattheoxidation wouldbeafirst-orderreaction.OnthebaselineofUVspectra of solution in the degradation process, we deduced that two dyes underwent the oxidative degradation in CGDE. The rate constants, relevant coefficients and the decolorization degree were displayed under different conditions.

An analytical method for the determination of glutamic acid by the sequential perturbation caused by different amounts of glutamic acid on the oscillating chemical system involving the Cu(II)-catalyzed oscillating reaction between hydrogen peroxide and sodium thiocyanate in an alkaline medium is proposed. The method relies on the linear relationship between the changes in the oscillation amplitude of the chemical system and the concentration of glutamic acid. The reaction is implemented in a continuous-flow stirred-tank reactor, and changes in the oscillation amplitude on each perturbation are proportional to the glutamic acid concentration. The use of the analyte pulse perturbation (APP) technique permits sequential determinations on the same oscillating system owing to the expeditiousness with which the steady state is regained after each perturbation. A novel and convenient method with good selectivity and high sensitivity for the determination of hydroquinone (HQ) based on the Belousov-Zhabotinskii (B-Z) oscillating chemical reaction has been presented. The optimum condition for the determination has also been investigated. A highly sensitive catalytic quenching spectrofluorimetric method was described for the determination of V(V) based on its catalytic effect on the oxidation of 1,8-diaminonaphthalene by potassium bromate with Tiron as an activator in weakly acidicmediumandthereactionmechanismwasinvestigated.Thereactionwasfollowedspectrofluorimetricallybymeasuring the fluorescence intensity of 1,8-diaminonathphlene (DAN) (λex=356nm,λem=439nm)at a fixed time of 5min from initiation of the reaction. Under the optimum conditions, vanadium(V) can be determined in the range 0.05-50.0ng ml-1 with a S.D.=0.024 for 15 times measurements. The detection limit of the method was down to 0.0088ng ml-1 and the catalytic reaction activation energy was found to be 43.92kJmol-1. The proposed method was tested for the determination of vanadium(V)inriceandnaturalwatersamples.©2002 Elsevier Science B.V.Allrights reserved.

In this work, a newly synthesized ligand, trisalicylicamido triethylamine, acts as a specific reagent for enhancing the fluorescence intensity of Eu III complex with thenoyltrifluoroacetone. The spectrofluorimetric determination of trace amounts of EuIII based on the above system was carried out and its luminescence mechanism was studied. Some common inorganic and organic anions were separated by high-performance ion chromatography coupled with indirect photometric detection and 1,2-dihydroxybenzene-3,5-disulfonate and sodium sulfosalicylate, respectively, as single-column single-component eluents. In respect of detection sensitivity, eluent concentration, eluent acidity and chromato-graphic separation efficiency, 1,2-dihydroxybenzene-3,5-disulfonate or sodium ulfosalicylate were excellent ultraviolet absorbers, capable of completely resolving many common inorganic and organic anions.
