毕军,毕业于清华大学计算机系,获博士、硕士、学士学位。曾任美国贝尔实验室博士后、研究员。现任清华大学信息网络工程研究中心网络体系结构和IPv6研究室主任、教授、博士生导师。
目前主要从事互联网体系结构、下一代互联网协议、高性能网络互联系统体系结构、真实地址寻址结构和方法、IPv4/IPv6互通和过渡技术等领域的研究工作。是多项新一代互联网和高性能IPv6网络系统有关的国家科技支撑计划、863、973、国家自然科学基金、教育部博士点基金、国际合作研究基金、国家发改委、信产部、北京市以及清华大学科研项目的技术负责人或主要承担人。
曾获得国家科技进步二等奖、中国通信学会科技进步一等奖和二等奖、中国高校科学技术奖一等奖、教育部“新世纪优秀人才”、中国高校十大科技进展、北京市“优秀青年知识分子”称号、中国计算机学会王选奖、国家“九五”重点科技攻关计划重大科技成果奖、国际会议优秀论文奖、清华大学特等奖学金、优秀博士论文、优秀博士毕业生等奖励。所参与领导研制和产品化的科研成果还获得信息产业部“信息产业重大技术发明奖”、“电子发展基金优秀项目”奖和科技部“国家重点新产品”。
已发表学术论文80余篇(SCI/EI 检索约70篇),申请发明专利近三十项。撰写国际标准草案十余项,其中一项RFC5210是我国在国际互联网标准化组织获得批准的第一个试验类RFC(第2作者),获得“2008年中国高校十大科技进展”。

The problem of the scalability of inter-domain routing is of the main issues in the design of Next Generation Internet (NGI). This paper addresses the intrinsic essences of the problems created by the scalability of Internet routing by introducing the entropy routing information concept. Based on the theoretical model of entropy in routing information, potential solutions to the routing scalability problems are discussed, which focus on three different aspects with their respective benefits and limitations and their architectural evaluations on typical proposals. In the end, a conclusion on the challenges of the Internet routing scalability problem is drawn, and the direction of further research on this problem is explored.

The size of the Boarder Gateway Protocol (BGP) routing table is continuously increasing, which incurs more memory demands in routers and increasing BGP update messages between peering routers as well. The RIB/FIB does not scale well with the Internet size, which is known as the routing scalability problem of the Internet. There are two major facts relevant to this problem: firstly more and more newly assigned IP blocks come into the routing system and in most cases are not aggregatable with the previously assigned addresses in their origin ASes; secondly, many BGP prefixes are deaggregated into fragments or overlapped with numerous trivial prefixes and these fragmental prefixes are widespread throughout the Internet without effective aggregation. In this paper we address the second point: improving the routing scalability via aggressive aggregation strategies. Our observation of the BGP routing information suggests that there exists a routing "core" of the Internet which is composed of a few "tier-1" Internet Service Providers (ISPs). Numerous "edge" autonomous systems (ASes) get transit routes to the other region of the Internet through the "core". We propose the "core" to conduct aggressive aggregation before advertising routes to their customers. With this strategy, a considerable portion of the fragmental prefixes can be eliminated from the perspective of the "edge" ASes. Our simulation confirms that this strategy will gain admirable improvements on reducing the size of routing tables for most part of the Internet.

【期刊论文】Passive IP Traceback: Capturing the Origin of Anonymous Traffic through Network Telescopes

IP traceback can be used to find the origin of anonymous traffic; however, Internet-scale IP traceback systems have not been deployed due to a need for cooperation between Internet Service Providers (ISPs). This article presents an Internet-scale Passive IP Trackback (PIT) mechanism that does not require ISP deployment. PIT analyzes the ICMP messages that may scattered to a network telescope as spoofed packets travel from attacker to victim. An Internet route model is then used to help re-construct the attack path. Applying this mechanism to data collected by Cooperative Association for Internet Data Analysis (CAIDA), we found PIT can construct a trace tree from at least one intermediate router in 55.4% the fiercest packet spoofing attacks, and can construct a tree from at least 10 routers in 23.4% of attacks. This initial result shows PIT is a promising mechanism.

The end-to-end attribute of the Internet enables easy modification and deployment of applications running at the host. Competition among these applications promotes the development of the Internet. However, new protocols related to the core layer, and network routers and switches are often hard to successfully implement. This paper proposes an Evolvable Internet Architecture (EIA). It suggests that new network architectures can be plugged into network equipment or into a host through interfaces provided by EIA for network experimentation or actual network deployment. Users can independently select network architectures, and use one or some of these architectures at the same time. The diversity provided by EIA will promote the evolution of the Internet.

从城市道路网的特点出发。描述了矢量化的城市道路网的存储结构。提出一种求解城市道路阿两节点间最短路径的算法。算法基-F双向式搜索原理,采用投影法、夹角最小的方法及二叉树理论。和Dijkstra算法相比,算法大大减小搜索空间,提高搜索速度;时间复杂性不超过O(N),N为网张嘴节点数。实际应用表明算法在很强的实用性和可靠性。

即时消息(Instant Messaging,IM)是一种新兴的互联网交流方式,它具有实时性、在线性等一些很好的特性。目前IM已经成为继Email、Web之后的第三大互联网应用,基于IM的技术仍然在发展中,也出现了一些和IM相关的研究问题。本文总结了IM的特征,将IM和其他交流方式进行了比较,介绍了IM的服务模型和相关协议,讨论了IM的现有研究方向并对IM的未来发展方向进行了展望。

对互联网覆盖路由相关研究工作进行了调研;按照Internet分层概念重点考查了网络层和传输层的覆盖路由的结构和方法;并且考查了覆盖路由其他相关问题的研究,包括覆盖路由性能的影响因素、多个覆盖网络路由之间的相互作用等。分析了已有研究工作的关键技术的优缺点。最后讨论了未来可能的研究方向,为互联网覆盖路由的研究提供参考。

Since the Internet uses destination-based packet forwarding, malicious attacks have been launched using spoofed source addresses. In an effort to enhance the Internet with IP source address validation, we prototyped an implementation of the IPv6 Source Address Validation Architecture (SAVA) and conducted the evaluation on an IPv6 test-bed. This paper reports our prototype implementation and the test results, as well as the lessons and insights gained from our experimentation. Some enhanced methods are also introduced in this article.
