周迪,2004年至今,致力于微波介质材料的研发以及相关基础科学问题的研究。依托功能材料相关的国家973、863项目及国家自然科学基金等重要课题,注重实验研究过程,配合基础理论探索,在配方体系拓展、结构性能调节分析、LTCC低温共烧陶瓷技术应用、谐振器滤波器及天线基板应用等方面取得一系列创新性研究成果。尤其在低温烧结微波介质陶瓷体系方面,系统开发研究了Bi2O3-MoO3-Li2O-V2O5四元体系超低温烧结微波介质陶瓷。提出以低熔点氧化物作为主元,研发本征超低温烧结微波介质陶瓷材料的概念。此体系中典型的具有良好微波介电性能的配方组成如下:620oC烧结的Bi2Mo3O12陶瓷,介电常数εr≈19,品质因数Qf≈21800GHz,谐振频率温度系数TCF≈-215ppm/oC,跟Al不发生化学反应;640oC烧结的Bi2Mo2O9陶瓷,εr≈38,Qf≈12500GHz,TCF≈+31ppm/oC,跟Al不发生化学反应;750oC烧结的Bi2MoO6陶瓷,εr≈31,Qf≈16700GHz,TCF≈-114ppm/oC。
在国际知名期刊发表科技论文60余篇(Acta Materialia、Journal of Materials Chemistry、Inorganic Chemistry、Applied Physics Letters、Journal of the American Ceramic Society等,其中第一作者文章36篇),申请中国专利8项(已授权4项),应邀为材料物理化学类国际著名期刊(Chemistry of Materials, Journal of the American Ceramic Society, Materials Letters, Journal of Alloys and Compounds, Materials Chemistry and Physics, Journal of Solid State Chemistry, Ceramic International等)审稿几十余次,多次参加陶瓷类国际学术会议。

A series of (ABi)1/2MoO4 (A=Li, Na, K, Rb, Ag) compositions were studied in regard to the sintering behavior, phase composition, microwave dielectric properties and chemical compatibility with silver and/or aluminum for electrodes. All the (ABi)1/2MoO4 (A=Li, Na, K, Rb, Ag) ceramics could be sintered below 700 oC with high relative density >93%. Whereas the (KBi)1/2MoO4 ceramic can be sintered to a high density at around 630 oC/2hrs with a relative permittivity ~37, a Qf value of 4,000 GHz and a temperature coefficient of resonant frequency (TCF) ~+117 ppm/oC. Furthermore, from the XRD analysis of co-fired ceramics, the (KBi)1/2MoO4 ceramic reacts with silver but not with aluminum at its densification temperature. The (ABi)1/2MoO4 (A=Li, Na, K, Rb, Ag) type ceramics can all be considered into the new field of ultra-low temperature co-firing dielectrics for multilayer applications.

In the present work, a pure monoclinic phase of BaNd2(MoO4)4 and BaSm2(MoO4)4 was formed at 850°C and 600°C, respec- tively, via a solid-state reaction method. The ceramic samples were found to be well densified at 960°C. Dense and homo- geneous microstructures were revealed from the scanning electron microscopy. The microwave dielectric behaviors were studied as a function of sintering temperature and characterized in the temperature range 25°C–120°C. The best properties were obtained in ceramics sintered at 960°C with a permittivity ~11.7, a Q 3 f value of 45 000 GHz and a temperature coeffi- cient of frequency about 41 ppm/°C for BaNd2(MoO4)4 cera- mic at 9.9 GHz, and a permittivity ~11.8, a Q 3 f value of 20 000 GHz, and a temperature coefficient of frequency about 34 ppm/°C for BaSm2(MoO4)4 ceramic at 9.7 GHz, respec- tively.
