宋怀河教授,男,1967年6月生,博士,教授,博士生导师。1985-1989年曲阜师范大学化学系学习,获理学学士学位;1989-1997年中国科学院山西煤炭化学研究所攻读硕士和博士学位,分别获得有机化学专业硕士和化学工艺专业博士学位;1997-1999年北京化工大学材料科学与工程学科博士后研究人员。主要研究领域为先进炭及复合材料,在沥青基炭材料(炭纤维、炭微球等),碳纳米结构及纳米复合材料(纳米碳管及其树脂、炭基复合材料、碳包覆纳米金属晶材料、碳纳米洋葱等),储能材料(锂离子电池等)等方面形成研究特色,承担国家、省部委及企业合作项目多项。在国内外学术期刊和会议上发表论文90余篇,其中被SCI/EI收录30余篇,合著1部,获得国家发明专利4项,申报1项,通过省部级成果鉴定2项。1999年入选北京市科技新星计划,2000年入选教育部骨干教师计划,2004年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划。为《新型炭材料》《炭素技术》和《北京化工大学学报》(自然科学版)编辑委员会委员。

碳包覆纳米金属颗粒是继富勒烯和碳纳米管之后的又一新型纳米碳材料,在许多领域具有广泛应用前景。本文综述了碳包覆纳米金属颗粒的合成方法,包括:电弧放电法、化学气相沉积法、热解法、液相浸渍炭化法和炭凝胶爆炸法等,简述了形成机理,总结了各自的优缺点,并指出将来的发展方向。

Nano-sized iron particle/carbon composites have been synthesized from a petroleum residue by heating at 420℃ with ferrocene under pressure. The morphologies and structural features of the composites were investigated using TEM, HREM and XRD measurements. The effect of ferrocene addition on the development of turbostratic carbon from the petroleum residue was discussed. It was found that, by increasing the amount of ferrocene added from 3% to 20%, the size of the nano-iron particles tended to increase from 20-80nm to 30-180nm. The iron particles pyrolyzed from ferrocene mainly exist in the forms Fe-O and Fe S when the ferrocene content was low (3% and 6%), and a-Fe when ferrocene contents 12x were high (10% and 20%). Upon further heat treatment in the range 500 to 900℃, the iron particles tended to aggregate and Fe-O and Fe Swere transformed into a-Fe and austenite. In comparison with the carbon formed without ferrocene 12x addition, the resulting carbon exhibited a turbostratic structure as shown by HREM, in which the d spacing decreased with 002 the increase of ferrocene loading and increasing temperature, suggesting the carbonization was promoted by the catalysis of the nano-iron particles.

Carbon-encapsulated iron nanoparticles with uniform diameters have been synthesized on a large scale by co-carbonization of an aromatic heavy oil and ferrocene at 480℃ under autogenous pressure. The morphologies and structural features of the iron/carbon composites were investigated using TEM, HREM and XRD measurements. It was found that, by increasing the amount of ferrocene added from 2wt.% to 45wt.%, the size of the nanoparticles increased from 15nm to 50nm and the morphologies of the resulting products changed from spherical-type to iron-filled carbon nanorods when the ferrocene loading was higher than 30wt.%. The iron particles pyrolyzed from ferrocene exist mainly in the form of a-Fe and small amounts of Fe3℃ were also formed when the ferrocene content was higher than 20wt.%. The formation mechanism of carbon-encapsulated iron nanoparticles is discussed briefly. This novel and simple approach constitutes a more practical method to prepare carbon-encapsulated metal anoparticles than those reported to date.

Carbon-encapsulated Fe3℃ nanoparticles with diameter of about 10nm were synthesized on a large scale via cocarbonization of durene and ferrocene at 540℃ under autogeneous pressure. TEM and HREM examinations con-firmed that the carbon-encapsulated Fe3℃ nanoparticles were uniformly dispersed in carbon matrix and the Fe3℃ nanoparticles were surrounded by several carbon layers with well ordered arrangement. The formation mechanism of carbon-encapsulated Fe3℃ nanoparticles was discussed briefly. This novel and simple approach constitutd a more practical method to prepare encapsulated nanoparticles than the present ones.

以固体核磁共振光谱为主要分析手段,比较研究了两种合成中间相沥青吡啶不溶组分的结构。结果表明:均四甲苯基中同相沥青吡啶不溶组分具有较低的芳香度和缩合度,富含甲基和环烷结构,分子呈渺位缩合构型;与此相反,四氢萘基中间相沥青则呈现很高的芳香度和缩合度,芳环上仅带有一些甲基取代基,平均分子为完全迫位缩合构。造成这种结构差异的原因在于前驱齐聚物的结构及缩聚程度的不同。

We report a novel method to synthesize multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) in large scale at 470℃. TEM and Roman spectra analysis show that dominating graphite crystalline coexists with amorphous carbon in MWNTs. XRD and TGA results suggest that fcc cobalt plays a catalytic role in the growth process of MWNTs, which exists and stable inside the carbon layers of MWNTs. The synthesis method is simple and can easily ensure adequate stability and reproducibility. Therefore the method is possibly suited to industrialized synthesizing process of MWNTs due to these advantages.

In this paper, self-sinterability of MCMB derived from a refined petroleum residue was studied in detail. Green pieces were prepared from the MCMB by hot pressing and further heat treatment in the range of 300℃ to 1100℃ under argon atmosphere. The properties of carbon blocks such as weight loss, volume shrinkage, conductivity during heat-treatment were measured after each step. hermalgravimetric analysis (TGA) of green pieces with different β resin content as well as Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) morphology of fracture surfaces of carbon blocks were also determined. From the results above, it is indicated that below 1100℃ the process of carbonization shows two distinct stages: plastic sintering below 550℃ and solid carbonization at higher temperature than 550℃. Different reactions took place in the interior of the carbon blocks during the two different stages, of which the plastic sintering stage was more important to the properties of carbon blocks. Accordingly, the model of self-sinterability of MCMB during heat treatment was proposed.

The conventional techniques to prepare C/C composite are complicated and costly due to the time-consuming processing such as liquid phase impregnation and chemical vapor deposition which are indispensable to obtain high performance C/C composites. Therefore much effort has been taken to develop new methods to simplify the processing and shorten the time of preparing C/C composite. Nagao and Nakagawa [1] manufactured unidirectional carbon fiber reinforced carbon composite by preformed-yarn method, of which the bending strength is 487.3 MPa. Sutani [2] reported the preparation of C/C composite with density of 1580 kg/m3 by hot pressing the mixture of chopped carbon fiber, coke powder and binder pitch.

The tribological behavior of meso-carbon microbead (MCMB) powders of micron sizes extracted from heat-treated coal tar pitches was monitored on an Optimal SRV tribotester at 300℃ and 250N when blended as special boundary lubrication improvers into a pentaerythritol base oil. Structures of the original MCMB were revealed with TEMto be of layers of various sizes governed by the heat-treatment intensity in the manufacturing process. Raman spectroscopic analyses of the worn areas of steel tribomate indicated that the MCMB with richer initial ordered structures would be beneficial to the tribological transformation. A deduced correlation of the measured size of the yielded graphitic microcrystallites and the calculated friction heat-treatment intensity (W) justified the ease of the tribological transformation of the more ordered initial structures of MCMB.

在石油渣油中加入二茂铁,通过热缩聚反应原位合成纳米级铁粒子均匀分散子炭基体中的新型复台材料。研究了在420℃热缩聚时停留时间和二茂铁添加量对Fe/C形成的影响,并用TEM和XRD观测和分析∫Fe/C的形态和结构。结果表明,在基体中铁粒子的粒径为20~50nm;在一定条件下茂铁添加量的增加和停留时间的延长均使Fe/C产率提高,停留时间对热缩聚反应的影响遵循一级以应动学,二茂铁的添加能显著提高反应速率常数κ埴
