王金福,男,1957年生,山东宁津人。1989年至1995年留学德国并获德国帕德博恩大学理学博士。现任清华大学化工系教授、博士生导师,绿色反应工程与工艺北京市重点实验室副主任。长期在化学反应工程与工艺及能源化工领域从事教学和科研工作。完成和正在承担的包括国家自然科学基金、国际合作、部委攻关、校企合作等科研项目二十余项。通过部级鉴定的科研成果五项,浆态床一步法二甲醚技术、连续重整反应器优化设计、万吨级有机硅流化床合成技术等已成功完成中试和投入产业化应用,为企业带来巨大经济效益和社会效益。兼任九三学社中央科技委员会委员、国际三相反应工程会议国际组委、中国颗粒学会理事、中国化工学会精细化工委员会委员、《化工通报》和《海湖盐与化工》编委等职。至今已发表学术论文200余篇,其中SCI收录70余篇,发明专利十余项,获省部级科技奖励4项、校重大效益推广奖1项。

The gas-to-liquid volumetric mass transfer behavior has been studied using the oxygen dissolution method in a three-phase circulating #uidized-bed (CFB) reactor 140mm in inner diameter and 3.0 m in height. The volumetric mass transfer coe$cient kLa is obtained from the measured bulk concentrations of the liquid phase by means of the axial dispersion model. The in#uences of the main operation conditions, such as super"cial gas velocity and super"cial liquid velocity and solid circulating rate, on the volumetric mass transfer coe$cient are studied systematically.

The gas–liquid mass transfer behavior is studied in a three-phase circulating fluidized bed reactor of 140mm i.d. and 3.0m height. Using the oxygen dissolution method, the volumetric mass transfer coefficient kLa is obtained from the measured bulk concentration of the liquid phase by fitting to the axial dispersion model (ADM). The gas holdup and the distribution of bubble size in the bed are measured by a fiber optical probe system, then the gas–liquid interfacial area a and the mass transfer coefficient kL are calculated. The influences of the main operating conditions, including superficial gas velocity, superficial liquid velocity and solid circulating rate, are studied systematically.

The synergy effect of process coupling of reaction-reaction and reaction-heat transfer for dimethyl ether synthesis has been studied. The theoretical and experimental analyses show that the synergy of reaction-reaction is prominent and that the synergy of reaction-heat transfer is also feasible. Due to the synergy effect, CO-rich synthesis gas can be used for dimethyl ether synthesis and higher once-through conversion of CO can be obtained. Recycling and compression of the unreacted synthesis gas can be minimized considerably. Accordingly, savings will be made in energy consumption and the water gas shift reaction system, and the entire investment and production cost will decrease.

A new type of catalytic distillation column has been developed for catalytic distillation processes. The catalysts are loaded loosely in the downcomer of the new column, so that they can be replaced easily. A new type of column plate structure has also been proposed to accommodate the new distillation column. Experimental results show that the new column and plate structure have much improved performance, with high plate efficiency, low pressure drops across the plate and very good operation flexibility. The novel catalytic distillation columns could be employed to many catalytic distillation processes.

An integrated hydrodynamic mathematical model is established from experimental results and a more rigorous definition is proposed for the uniformity of the axial gas distribution in a radial flow moving-bed reactor (RFMBR). A new iteration strategy is provided for the solution of the model. Simulations show the influence of the flow structure, the reactor dimension, the design of the axial gas distributor and the operation conditions on the axial uniformity of the gas distribution. This work provides a theoretical basis and useful method for the optimum design and operation of RFMBRs.

This work aims to extend the application of a commercial Doppler ultrasound velocimetry DOP2000 (Model 2030, signal processing S.A.) to multiphase systems.We firstly make a correction to the determination of Doppler angle and measuring location taking into account the ultrasound refraction and the ultrasound velocity difference in different medias, and then investigate the measurement of the solid concentration in a liquid-solid system and the bubble behavior in a gas-liquid system with low gas holdup. The experimental results show that the attenuation coefficient increases monotonously. A model based on the ultrasound reflection and refraction law is proposed to predict the received echo energy in homogeneous liquid–solid system. Furthermore, the signal response of bubbles is also discussed. By placing the probe in the direction of the flow, the difficulty of determining Doppler angle is avoided and the liquid and bubble rise velocities are simultaneously obtained.

Several models for the daughter bubble/droplet size distribution are reviewed and a detailed discussion is given to get a better understanding of the daughter size distribution. A novel theoretical breakup kernel function for bubbles/droplets in a turbulent flow, based on an eddy-bubble/droplet collision method, is developed. It takes into account the energy distribution of turbulent eddies, e5ect of capillary pressure and surface energy increase during bubble/droplet breakup. An increase in the mother bubble/droplet size and energy dissipation rate increases the probability of unequal breakup. The model prediction is in good agreement with experimental results and the underlying physical situation.

The gas-liquid-solid three-phase circulating fluidized bed (TPCFB) is a novel multiphase reactor with outstanding performance in hydrodynamics, heat transfer, mass transfer and catalyst treatment. The object of this work is to study the bubble behavior in TPCFBs for better understanding of the hydrodynamics of the reactor. The local gas holdup, bubble size distribution, and bubble rise velocity in different radial positions are measured using a fiber optic probe, and the effects of operating conditions on bubble rise velocity are also investigated. Moreover, the bubble rise velocity and its distribution are compared with the data from gas-liquid two-phase external loop airlift reactors and gas-liquid-solid three phase fluidized beds without external circulation of liquid and particles.

A gas-liquid mass transfer model for slurry bubble systems is established. It is based on the dynamic film mass transfer theory for a single bubble. The concentration in the liquid film is considered as a function of time t and radial position r. The analytical solution is obtained by Laplace transformation and the use of Danckwerts's age distribution function. The mass transfer coefficient kL is deduced from the analytical solution. The influence of the model parameters: the surface renewal rate s and the thickness of the liquid film δ on the mass transfer coefficient kL is simulated. The two parameters are correlated with the operating conditions such as temperature, pressure, superficial gas velocity and solid concentration to allow the model to be used to predict the interfacial mass transfer rate for slurry bubble systems.

An e cient numerical algorithm was proposed for "A novel theoretical breakup kernel function of bubble/droplet in a turbulent 'ow". In this algorithm, a recursive method was used to calculate the involved triple integral, which reduced the calculation complexity of a triple integral to a double integral.
