张文祥教授,男,1962年12月生,吉林大学化学学院教授,博士生导师,兼吉林大学科技处副处长,中国化学会催化专业委员会委员,政协长春市委员。1984年毕业于太原工业大学化学系,1987年10月以公派留学生身份赴日本北海道大学触媒研究所学习,在延与三知夫(M.Enyo)和岩本正和(M.Iwamoto)教授的分别指导下,先后于1990年3月获理学硕士学位,1993年3月获工学博士学位。期间,主要进行了吸附与催化化学方面的学习和研究工作。1994年归国后在吉林大学化学系工作,同年被评聘为副教授,1998年被评聘为教授。1999年被遴选为博士生导师。目前,主要从事环境催化、精细化工催化和新催化材料设计与制备等方面的研究工作,并取得了一些有意义的研究成果,在Chem. Mater., Chem. Commun., Langmuir, Appl. Catal. A, Catal. Lett., Catal. Commun.等SCI收录期刊上发表论文50余篇,论文被SCI他引400余次。作为项目负责人共承担各类研究课题16项,其中国家自然科学基金项目2项,教育部项目4项,吉林省科技厅重点项目1项、应用基础项目2项。还作为项目参加人参加了包括“973”和军工项目在内的多项科研项目。

Vapour-phase O-methylation of catechol with methanol has been investigated over Ti-containing aluminium phosphate catalysts (denoted as Al0.77TixP, where x is between 0 and 1.15) prepared by non-uniform precipitation method. The catalytic activities increase with the increase of Ti/P ratio in the range 0-0.23, while further increase of Ti content leads to the decrease of activities. Meanwhile, the selectivity to guaiacol decreased gradually with the increase of Ti/P ratio. The results of various means of characterization demonstrate that the addition of titanium considerably affects the structure of the catalysts, as well as the strength and amount of the acidic and basic sites. The presence of stronger Lewis acidic and/or basic sites in the higher Ti content catalysts should be responsible for the formation of side products (C-alkylation products) and coke, thus quickening the deactivation process of the catalysts. On the other hand, the weak acidic-basic characteristics of the lower Ti content catalysts result in the high selectivity to mono-O-methylation product (guaiacol), and the excellent durability of the catalysts.

The adsorption properties of nitrogen monoxide (NO) on various metal ion-exchanged zeolites were examined by adsorption-desorption measurements in a fiied bed flow adsorption apparatus. Among the samples used, the copper ion-exchanged ZSM-5 zeolites showedthe greatest ability for reversible adsorption of NO; therefore, it has been studied in more detail. The amounta of reversible and irreversible adsorption of NO per copper ion exchanged increased with decreasing aluminum content of the zeolite, and were constant, independent of the ion exchange level. The NO species adsorbed on the zeolite were characterized by infrared (IR) and temperature-programmed desorption (TPD) techniques. Most of the NO reversibly adsorbed is the NO+ adsorbed on Cu2+, and the NO irreversibly adsorbed is the residual of NO+, nitrate (NO3-), nitrite (NOz-1, and NO2+. The irreversibly adsorbed species gave the desorption peaks at 400, 463, and 663K. The total amount of NO desorbed in the TPD experiment is in good agreement with the amount of irreversible adsorption of NO evaluated from the adsorption-desorption measurement.

A series of samples have been prepared from high dispersion of CuCl2 into NaZSM-5 and HZSM-5 zeolites, and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), differential thermal analysis (DTA), hexane isotherms, and IR spectroscopy. The catalytic activity in selective reduction of NO shows that CuCl2/HZSM-5 catalyst exhibits higher conversion at 3008C than that of CuZSM-5 prepared from an ion-exchange method. Correlation of catalytic data with infrared spectra for CuCl2/HZSM-5, CuCl2/NaZSM-5, and CuZSM-5 samples suggested that the catalytic sites can be assigned to synergetic effect of protons and copper species.

Au/ZnO catalysts prepared by co-precipitation method with different Au: Zn atomic ratios have been studied for room-temperature CO oxidation in the presence/absence of water in the feed stream. The catalysts exhibited excellent catalytic activity and stability compared with pure ZnO. Furthermore, it was found that the lifetime of Au/ZnO catalysts was improved significantly by increasing CO concentration but decreased by addition of H2O in the feed stream. The deactivation may be related to the sintering of metallic gold and the accumulation of carbonate-like species in the catalyst.

Various Au/Fe2O3 catalysts were prepared by the coprecipitation method, and CO oxidation was studied at ambient temperature and in the presence of water vapor in the feed. It was found that the precipitation method and the calcination temperatures have a significant effect on the catalytic performance of CO oxidation. The stability is related to the particle size of metallic gold and a-Fe2O3 and the oxidation state of gold and the iron crystalline phase. The sintering of the gold particles, the reduction of oxide gold to metallic gold, the accumulation of carbonate, and a decrease in the specific surface area were observed during the reaction, which may contribute to the deactivation of Au/Fe2O3 catalysts.

Al-P-O catalysts with different P/Al ratios from 0 to 2.0 were synthesized by conventional precipitation method. The effect of P/Al ratio on the textural and surface properties, and the catalytic activity in the reaction of catechol with methanol were studied by XRD, IR, BET and TPD methods. At P/Al<1.0, the samples were mixtures of aluminium phosphate and amorphous alumina. With increasing P/Al ratio, crystalline AlPO4 and NH4AlP2O7 phases were formed and the surface area of the samples decreased. The catalytic activities for the Omethylation of catechol with methanol have a correlation with the acid amounts. Guaiacol was obtained as a major product and the highest guaiacol yield of ca. 45% was obtained from the sample with P/Al=1.

Various Au/ZnO catalysts have been prepared by a coprecipitation method and have been tested for CO oxidation at ambient temperature and in the presence of water in the feed stream. It was found that Au/ZnO catalysts exhibited excellent CO oxidation activity and stability, and the catalytic erformance was greatly dependent on the calcination temperatures and on the kind of precipitants. The most stable catalyst was obtained using Na2CO3 as precipitant and calcining at 240℃; it can completely oxidize CO to CO2 for more than 1700h under the following conditions: 0.5% CO, 10% O2, 1.8% H2O, balanced with Ar, GHSV = 12,000h−1. The XRD, BET, TEM and TG-DTA investigations of the catalysts revealed that the particle size of Au and ZnO, the SBET and the type of zinc species were the primary factors influencing the stability of Au/ZnO catalysts. Furthermore, sintering of metallic gold and the accumulation of carbonate-like species during CO oxidation were observed; these processes may be responsible for the deactivation of the Au/ZnO catalysts.

A mesoporous titanium phosphate with high surface area was synthesized in an alcoholic system containing a small quantity of water using n-octodecylamine as structure-directing agent. The stability and structure order of the product treated by postsynthetic treatment can be improved remarkably after removal of the structure-directing agent by acidified ethanol extraction. The mesoporous product calcinated at 500℃ exhibits wormhole-like pore structure and high surface area about 497m2/g.
