郭新闻,男,1967年生,教授,博士生导师,石油学报(石油加工)编委,精细化工国家重点实验室副主任,大连理工大学工业催化系主任兼化工学院副院长,辽宁省“百千万人才工程”百人层次,教育部“新世纪优秀人才”人选。1985年9月-1989年7月,大连理工大学高分子材料系读本科,获得工学学士学位;1989年9月-1994年9月在大连理工大学工业催化专业硕博连读,获工学博士学位。1994年9月-1996年10月,大连理工大学工业催化系讲师,1996年10月-2001年4月,大连理工大学工业催化系副教授,2001年4月-至今,大连理工大学工业催化系教授。2001年4月-2002年4月年获得教育部“21世纪教育振兴行动计划”计划资助赴美国宾夕法尼亚州立大学做访问教授。2004年11月-2005年3月受到宾夕法尼亚州立大学宋春山教授的邀请再次对该校进行访问研究。主要从事环境友好催化技术及新材料的应用基础研究。2002年获中国石油和化学工业协会科技进步一等奖(排名3);2003年获得国家科技进步二等奖(排名3)。已申请发明专利6项,授权2项,在国内外学术刊物及国际会议上发表论文150余篇,SCI收录64篇,EI收录54篇,合写国内专著2部。

The objective of this work is to study methylation of 4-methylbiphenyl (4-MBP) with methanol over modified ZSM-5 catalysts under fixed-bed down-flow conditions, especially the effects of zeolite structure, SiO2/Al2O3 ratios of ZSM-5, metal oxide modification, phosphorus modification and hydrothermal treatment. The results show that, over 12-membered ring zeolites, such as HY, HM and H-Beta, there is no sign of selectivity to the target product, 4,4 -dimethylbiphenyl (4, 4-DMBP). Over 10-membered rin zeolite ZSM-5, the catalyst shows moderate selectivity to 4, 4-DMBP.Ahigh Si/Al ratio leads to high selectivity but lowcatalyst activity; BothMgOmodification and phosphorus modification increase the selectivity to 4,4 -DMBP, but less than 80%. Hydrothermal treatment not only increases the selectivity to 4, 4-DMBP, but also improves the stability. Treatment temperature has great effect on the activity and the selectivity in the methylation of 4-MBP with methanol. The optimal temperature range is between 400 and 550℃. The high selectivity over modified HZSM-5 largely results from the depression of 4, 4-DMBP second reaction such as isomerization, dealkylation, as demonstrated by the reaction of 4, 4-DMBP as reactant over modified HZSM-5 and the parent zeolite.

A series of ZSM-5 samples modified with metal oxides MO(M ¼Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba and Zn) were employed for the alkylation of 4-methylbiphenyl (4-MBP) with methanol to 4, 40-dimethylbiphenyl (4, 40-DMBP) under fixed-bed down-flow conditions. The methylation results showed that the use of basic metal oxides can e ectively enhance the selectivity to the target product 4, 40-DMBP. MgOis the most e ective modifier among the metal oxides used and it can improve selectivity to 4, 40-DMBP up to 80% as compared to only 13% over the parent zeolite HZSM-5. The modification e ectiveness of metal oxides on 4,40-DMBP selectivity can be arranged in the order MgO>SrO ZnO CaO>BaO. The optimization of MgO modification through the content, salt types and loading methods revealed that proper MgOloading (5.6wt%) can be more e ective, and the impregnation method is much better than ion exchange. The correlation of physicochemical properties (TPD, TGA, chemical analysis and chemical adsorption, etc.) of the modified HZSM-5 with the catalytic data showed that the high selectivity over ZSM-5 modified with MgOlargely results from the e ective suppression of 4, 40-DMBP secondary reactions such as isomerization, dealkylation and alkylation.

The deactivation and regeneration of the lamina titanium silicalite (TS-1) catalyst for the poxidation of propylene with dilute H2O2 was investigated in a fixed-bed reactor. In the scale-up experiment, the dosage of the lamina TS-1 catalyst is 2.5 kg, after 1000 h reaction the catalyst still exhibits good performance and further increases the reaction time, the conversion of H2O2 begins to decrease. TG and BET analyses of the deactivated catalysts show that the main species occluded within the zeolite pore are propylene oxide oligomers, and these species occupying the active Ti site and blocking the pores of the lamina TS-1 are the main reason for the deactivation of catalyst. The deactivated catalyst can be regenerated by different regeneration methods. The activity of deactivated catalysts regenerated by dilute H2O2 or heat treatment by using air or nitrogen as a calcination media can be fully recovered, but a decline in propylene oxide (PO) selectivity of the regenerated catalyst has been observed during the first hours of reaction. However, water vapor treatment of the deactivated catalyst can improve the PO selectivity with the same activity as that of the fresh lamina TS-1 catalyst.

Nano-scale TS-1 was successfully synthesized through the modification of the conventional synthesis method. The effects of synthesis conditions(crystallization time, temperature and alcohol removal temperature) were investigated in detail. Moreover, the effect of surfactant was also studied. The results show that high quality TS-1 with crystal size of ca. 100nm was obtained when the crystallization time was about 12h; High crystallization temperature and alcohol removal temperature favor the incorporation of titanium into the framework. The addition of nonionic surfactant decreases the usage of template TPAOH and makes the crystal size of TS-1 more uniform. Using epoxidation of propylene and hydroxylation of phenol with dilute H2O2 as the test reactions, the catalytic properties of TS-1 were investigated. The results show that nano-scale TS-1 exhibits high performance in the propylene epoxidation; after 300h reaction, both the conversion of H2O2 and the selectivity to PO are about 96%.

Epoxidation of propylene to propylene oxide over Ag/TS-1 in the presence of oxygen and hydrogen was carried out in a fixedbed, quartz flow reactor. The effects of Ag loading, Si/Ti ratio of TS-1 and calcination temperature and calcination method of Ag/TS-1 on the propylene epoxidation were investigated. The results show that Ag loading, the calcination temperature and calcination method of Ag/TS-1 as well as the Si/Ti ratio of TS-1 have a great effect on the catalytic properties. The optimum Ag loading, calcination temperature and calcination method of Ag/TS-1 and Si/Ti ratio of TS-1 are 2wt%, 450 C in air and 64 respectively. Over 2.0wt% Ag=TS-1ðnSi=nTi ¼ 64Þ catalyst, at a space velocity of 3000h 1, 0.92% propylene conversion with 91.21% selectivity to propylene oxide is obtained at 150 C. The deactivation of Ag/TS-1 catalyst is not due to the changes of active species, but because of the coke of the catalyst, which can be easily regenerated by calcination at 450 C in air.

Ag/TS-1 was prepared by microemulsion method in which dioctyl sulfosuccinate sodium salt (AOT) was used as the surfactant and n-heptane as the organic solvent. The synthesized Ag/TS-1 was characterized by UV-Vis and TEM and its catalytic properties in gas-phase propylene epoxidation were carried out in a fixed bed reactor. The results show that Ag is highly dispersed on TS-1 and the crystal size can be adjusted through the adjusting of the molar ratio of water to surfactant ([H2O]/[surfactant]=R). The catalyst prepared with R ¼ 4.74 exhibits the highest catalytic activity for propylene epoxidation in gas-phase, the optimal reaction temperature scope is between 363 and 383 K. Over the catalyst prepared with R ¼ 4.11, propylene conversion and the selectivity to propylene oxide (PO) are 1.1% and 91.0%, respectively.

The effects of calcination atmosphere of the Ag/TS-1 catalyst and other Ti-containing supports on propylene epoxidation using oxygen as the oxidant in a fixed-bed quartz reactor were investigated. The samples were characterized by XRD, UV-vis, ESR, TEM and FT-IR. The results show that 2wt.% Ag/TS-1 calcined in air is optimum; the Ag/Ti-containing (prepared by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) or impregnation (IMP) method) catalysts have catalytic activities in the reaction. The framework titanium species plays an important role, while the extra framework titanium species (280-290nm) also has weak epoxidation activity in the gas-phase epoxidation of propylene; excessive extra framework titanium species (280-290nm) can decrease PO selectivity. The oxidized silver ions are the main active sites for the gas-phase epoxidation of propylene.
