田昭武(1927~),1949年毕业于厦门大学化学系,1984年获英国威尔士大学名誉理学博士。现为厦门大学教授、中国科学院院士、第三世界科学院院士,固体表面物理化学国家重点实验室名誉主任,《电化学》主编。历任国际电化学会副主席、中国化学会理事长,厦门大学校长、福建省科协主席、国家教委化学教学指导委员会首届主任委员、固体表面物理化学国家重点实验室首届主任、国际电化学学会第46届年会主席、《Electrochimica Acta》副主编。《中国科学》编委。专著《电化学研究方法》, 发表科学论文150余篇。获国家自然科学奖、国家发明奖及部级以上科技奖励六项,并获国家发明专利二十几?项。当前研究领域为电化学,芯片实验室,微纳米制造,电动汽车,超级电容器等。

A new physical model----Uneven Liquid Film Model for gas diffusiong porons electrode is presented in this paper. By eapillary force, the rough envelope surface of the eatalyat ogglo-merate is eovered with the e4lectrolytie solution film, which possesses different thicknesses for different parts. In practical current density region, the linear behavior and the effects of partial pressure of gas reactant, the thiekness of catalytie layer, and the composition of elec-trolytie solution on the polarization curve are all in agreement with those predieted by digital and analytieal solutions of the new model.

The adsorption of CD on a p electrode was used as a mofecufar probe, and the surface properties with respect to the electronis structure of the p electrocatalyst during modification by S or Bi adatoms were investigated by a combination of cyclic voltasmmetry, in-situ Fourier transform IR (FTIR) SPECTROSCOPY AND clusters model analysis using self-consistente charge discrete variational Xn (SCC-DV-Xn) calculations. It is found that she S adatome decteases the ability of the Pt surface to donate electrons. Resulting in weakened CO adsorption and increasing vibrational frequency of the OSO band of adsorbed CO molecules. However. The opposite effects were observed in the case of Bi-adatomes. The electronic and vibrational properties of the potenmith dependence of CO adsorbed on a Pt electrode were also studied carefully. The results of quantum chemistry calculations are in good agreement with the experimental results of in-situ FTIR spectroncopy and also reveal the deeper significance of the IR spectroscopy data.

The ionization equilibrium is calculated for a suppressor efluent containing remnations, e.g., Na+ in the case of anion analysis, due to imperfect suppression. It is shown that: (1) The remnation not only affects the background specific con-ducivity but also seriously depresses the peak height of ideal peak height. For Pkha >11, the practical peak height may be negative. (2) The sensitivity, linearity and reproducibili of conductivity detection for low concentration samples are seriously affected by the remnantion, i.e., by the conversion efficiency of the suppressor. (3) The ionization of the waek acid derived from the eluent is depressed by the commonion effect strong acid derived from the sample. The peakheight depression denends on the ionization constant, KHA. However, in the case of CNa>0, the buffer effect of HA compensates the effect of remnant Na+, Therefore it is appropriate to use eluent with PKHA in the range 6-8.

In order to realize two-dimensional lithography at high resoulution (several tens of nanometers), a new approach to the lithography of a fine pattern using a confined etchant layer technique (CELT) in an electrochemical system is presented. A mould plate of conductive material with a high-resoulution line pattern (which can be prepared with the aid of e.g. electron beams) is used instead of the tip in scanning tunneling microscopy (STM). The etchant species is generated at the surface of the muld plate by electrochemical photochemical or photoelectrochemical methods, then diffuses away from the surface of the mould plate. The key feature of CELT is the design of a chemical reaction which rapidly destroys the etchant (e.g. within microseconds on average) following its generation. Therefore, the gradient of the concentration of etchant can be greastly enhanced and the thickness of the diffusiong layer can be greatly decreased to several tens of nanometers. Thus, the etchant layer is confined and its outer boundary can essentially retain the fine structure of the pattern of the mould plate. Then the substrate to be corroded is adjusted by ECSTM to approach the mould plate within several tens of nanometers and the corroded pattern can retain the fine structure giving a resolution of several tens of nanometres.

There have been two review articles [z] on the advances in electrochemistry in China by 1985. The aim of the this review is to give a brief account o current developments in electrochemistry achieved by Chinese scholars in recent yeaer. Limitation of space for the review makes it impossible to include all topics of interest, especially these of technology. The main area reviewed are; in situ spectroelectrochemical techniqueas; interfacial electrochemistry; new electrochemical systems and photoelectrochemistry.

A new in-situ electrochemical scaming tunchag microcope (ECSTM) has been designed in our laboratwy with the folkwing main features: (1) The normal electrochemical current at the tip during scamning can be autoamtically curreeted by a newly desined special feedback loop and conputer progran. (2) The tip-sample bias poten tial and the individcal electrode potential of tip or sumple can be adjusted. scanned or cycled by computer according to the requirement, (3) Driving and adjustin the tip to a nanometer distance from the sample surface can be carried out by a computer-controlled motor, A preliminary example of application to electrochemcal systems is predented.

本发明是关于离子色谱的重要部件,它由两张离子交抽象树脂膜和夹在其中的抑制室及阳极室和阴极室组成。根据电诊析原理,在电场和膜的共同作用下,离子作定向迁移,选择性地通过离子交换树脂膜除去洗脱液中的离电导的离子,使流脱液转化为低电导的物质。采用这样的抑制柱。柱体可长期连续使用。无需再生,无需推动再生液的动力装置以及耐高压的密封装置,简化工艺,缩小体积,降低造价。

本发明涉及应用电解检测电化学变量的装置,它提供一种疼层型,六电极的流动体系库仓检测器,其上池体有两个共和电极和两个参比电极,下池体装有两个辅助电极,上、下池体之间有离子变换隔膜,隔膜与上、下池体之间分别有一块垫片。工作电极与辅助电极完全面对面装置。该库仓检测电解的总电解电量值。实测定量的目的,同时定量结果与温度、试液流速等因素无关。其结构简单、实用。
