彭旭东，男，1964年出生，博士，教授，博士生指导教师。浙江工业大学机电学院副院长，过程装备与控制工程系主任，中国机械工程学会高级会员、国家机械密封技术标准委员会委员，《摩擦学学报》和《润滑与密封》等核心期刊编委。1986年毕业于华东石油学院化机专业，1989年石油大学北京研究生部机械工程专业硕士毕业，1999年西安交通大学机械工程专业博士毕业，2004年从吉林大学机械工程博士后流动站出站。研究方向为表面工程和摩擦学，主要包括：机械密封动力学、热力学和仿生学；机械密封润滑/密封机理、新型结构及其CAD软件；气体动压润滑机械端面密封的基础研究与产品开发；滑动摩擦副的表面形貌先进设计方法与加工制造技术；纳米自润滑复合材料（包括仿生材料）和纳米级密封材料的研制开发；橡胶类材料的摩擦学研究（包括汽车轮胎的抗滑、耐磨和绿色设计）等。曾获得中国石化总公司科技进步二等奖等省部级奖2项，获得国家专利4项，发表科技论文90余篇，被SCI、EI、ISTP等收录40余篇。

It is known by Zhang and Park (J. Statist. Plann. Inference 91 (2000) 107) that there are no minimum aberration (MA) designs with respect to both treatments and blocks for blocked regular mixedlevel factorial designs. So it should be compromised between the block wordlength pattern and treatment wordlength pattern. Two methods are considered in this article. The first isMAblocking scheme of an MA design. The other is to combine the components of the two wordlength pattern vectors into one combined wordlength pattern according to the modified hierarchical assumptions and an appropriate ordering of the numbers of alias or confounding relations. The relationship between the two types of optimal blocked designs is investigated. A complete catalogue of optimal blocked regular mixed factorial designs of the above two types with 16 or 32 runs is given.

It is very powerful for constructing nearly saturated factorial designs to characteriza fractional factorial (FF) designs through their consulting designs when the consulting designs are small. Mukerjee and Fang employed the projective geometry theory to find the secondary worldength pattern of a regular symmetrical fractional factorial splitplot (FFSTP) design in terms of its complementary subset, but not in a unified form. In this paper, based on the connection between factorial dwsign theory and coding theory, we obtain some general and unified combinatorial identities that relate the secondary wordlength pattern of a regular symmetrical or mixedlevel FFSP design to that of its consulting design. According to theses identites, we further establish some general and unified ruleds for identifying minimum secondary aberration, symmetrical or mixedlevel, FFSP designs through their consulting designs.

By considering the socalled algebraic orthogonality among experimental runs, this paper introduces a new criterion, minimum innerproduct moment (MIPM), for general asymmetrical designs, and shows that MIPM is equivalent to the minimum moment aberration (MMA) criterion for the natural weights. Furthermore, the relationship between the generalized minimum aberration (GMA) and some modeldependent efficiency criteria is investigated by using the complex contrasts. Thus, two new justifications of GMA criterion is given from the points of view of orthogonality among experimental runs and design efficiency. They are generalizations of the related results of Butler (2003) and Cheng, Deng, and Tang (2002) for twolevel factorial designs.

Combinedoptimal designs (Li and Lin, 2003) are obviously the best choices for the initial designs if we partition the experiment into two parts with equal size to obtain some information about the process, especially for the case not considerign the blocking factor. In this pape, the definition of combinedoptimal design is extended to the case when blocking factor is significant, and this new class of designs is called blocded combinedoptimal designs. Some general results are obtained which relate 2kpIII inital designs with their complementary designs when k>5n8, where n=2kp. By applying these results, we are able to characterize 2kpIII combinedoptimal designs or blocked combinedoptimal dwdigns in terms of their complementary designs. It is also proved that both 2kpIII compbinedoptimal and blocked combinedoptimal designs are not minimum aberration designs when k>5n8 and n1k>2. And some combinedoptimal and bloked combined optimal designs with 16 and 32 runs are constructed fo rillustration.

In this paper, by introducing a concept of consulting design and based on the connection between factorial design theory and coding theory, we obtain combinatorial identities that relate the wordlength pattern of a regular mixed factorial design to that of its consulting design. According to these identities, we furthermore establish the general and unified rules for idejntifying minimum aberration mixed factorial designs through their consulting designs. It is an improvement and generalization of the results in Mukerjee and Wu (2001).

Chen and Cheng (Ann. Statist. 27 (1999) 1948) got the relationships between a blocked symmetrical factorial design and its residual design. In this paper, we extend the study to the case of blocked mixedlevel factorial designs. By introducing a concept of blocked consulting design and using MacWilliams identities and Krawtchouk polynomials in coding theory, we obtain combinatorial identities that govern the relationships between the partitioned wordlength patterns of a blocked regular mixed factorial design and that of its blocked consulting design. Based on these identities, we furthermore establish some general rules for identifying minimum aberration blocked mixed factorial designs in terms of their blocked consulting designs. As applications, some blocked 412n and 422n designs with 16 and 32 runs are tabulated.

This paper introduces minimum secondary aberration (MSA) and maximum secondary estimation capacity (MSEC) criteria for discriminating among rival nonisomorphic regular multistratum fractional factorial splitplot (FFSP) designs. Some general rules for identifying MSA or MSEC multistratum FFSP designs through their consulting designs are also established. It is an improvement and eneralization of the related results in (Statist. Sinica 12 (2002) 885). The comparison between the MSEC criterion and that of Mukerjee and Fang (2002) is briefly given.

For a fixed number of runs, when can designs have clear main effects or clear twofactor interactions (in brief, 2fi' s)? This paper gives the maximum value of n in sn m designs containing clear main effects or clear 2fi' s, where s is any prime or prime power. It is a generalization of the related results in Chen and Hedayat (J. Statist. Plann. Inference 75 (1998) 147158) for twolevel designs. It is further concluded that the weak minimum aberration designs have a maximum number of clear main effects for twolevel designs. A collection of designs containing most clear main effects or clear 2fi' s for 16, 32, 27, and 81 runs is given.

Supersaturated design is a form of fractional factorial design and has recently received much interest because of its potential in factor screening experiments. This paper mainly concerns the existing criteria for mixedlevel designs, i.e. the w2ðDÞ criterion (for design D) proposed by Yamada and Matsui (J. Statist. Plann. Inference 104 (2002) 459), the EðfNODÞ criterion proposed by Fang et al. (Metrika 58 (2003b) 279) and the minimum moment aberration (MMA) proposed by Xu (Statist. Sinica 13 (2003) 691). A lower bound of χ2 (D) is obtained along with the sufficient and necessary condition for achieving it. The connections between χ2 (D) and other criteria are discussed. Especially, it is shown that χ2 (D) and the second power moment χ2 (D) are in fact equivalent to each other and hence the two criteria, χ2 (D) and MMA, share the same optimal supersaturated designs, which can be constructed from saturated orthogonal arrays and other supersaturated designs.

The authors introduce the notion of split generalized wordlength pattern (GWP), i.e., treatment GWP and block GWP, for a blocked nonregular factorial design. They generalize the minimum aberration criterion to suit this type of design. Connections between factorial design theory and coding theory allow them to obtain combinatorial identities that govern the relationship between the split GWP of a blocked factorial design and that of its blocked consulting design. These identities work for regular and nonregular designs. Furthermore, the authors establish general rules for identifying generalized minimum aberration (GMA) blocked designs through their blocked consulting designs. Finally they tabulate and compare some GMA blocked designs from Hall' s orthogonal array OA (16; 215; 2) of type III.
