王立,男,1957年10月出生,在浙江大学获得博士学位,在加拿大滑铁泸大学(Waterloo University)完成博士后研究后回国,现为浙江大学教授、博士生导师、中国兵器工业52所分所研究员、中国物理学会波谱学专业委员会委员、浙江省化学会理事、中国物理学会"波谱学杂志"编委。担任过美国耶鲁大学(Yale University)访问教授、美国华盛顿大学(Washington University)访问教授、捷克科学院物理化学研究所研究员。从事高分子合成、功能高分子及纳米材料制备及组装方面的研究多年,先后作为项目第一负责人承担国家自然科学基金项目4项、科技部攻关项目1项、科技部中-法国际合作项目1项、科技部中-意国际合作项目1项、科技部中-荷国际合作项目1项及和跨国公司、国内企业及军工部门的合作项目二十余项。作为主要组织者组织国际会议二次,多次在国内、国际全议上作邀请报告,先后应邀去美、法、意、德、加、捷等国讲学和或学术交流。在国内外学术刊物上发表学术论文140余篇,其中SCI、EI收录论文80余篇,合作出版专著一本,申请国家发明专利6项(二项已授权),通过省部级成果鉴定2项,曾获浙江大学王宽诚优秀教师奖。

Spherical MgCl2-supported Ziegler-Natta catalysts containing internal donors, such as diethyl phthalate, diisobutyl phthalate, and di-n-octyl phthalate, have been prepared. The effects of external donors, phenyltrimethoxysilane, phenyltriethoxysilane, and diphenyldimethoxylsilane, on the propylene polymerization catalyzed by these catalysts were studied. The results indicate that the external donors not only led to an increase in the isotactic index, but also affected the morphology of resultant polymer particles.

Here, the dendritic chloric poly (benzyl ether)(G1-Cl, G2-Cl and G3-Cl) as the macroinitiator for the controlled atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) of methyl methylacrylate was investigated. Polymers obtained were characterizated by GPC, 1H NMR, FT-IR, TGA and DSC. These dendritic-linear block polymers that consist of linear and dendritic segments have very good solubility in common organic solvents at room temperature. In a selective solvent (THF/H2O), polymers can self-assembled into the micelles that have a spherical morphology in shape due to the lowest of the surface energies.

The benzoyl-terminated multiarm hyperbranched poly (3-ethyl-3-oxetanethanol)(HBPO-B) was synthesized by reaction of terminal hydroxyl with benzoyl chloride in CH2Cl2 in the presence of pyridine and triethylamine (TEA) as the acceptors of HCl. The macroscopic self-assembly structures of hyperbranched benzoyl-terminated poly (3-ethyl-3-oxetanethanol) can be obtained via a simple solvent volatilizing route and generated multiwalled structures with millimeters in diameter and centimeters in length. Besides the molecular structures, the macroscopic self-assembly of hyperbranched benzoyl-terminated poly (3-ethyl-3-oxetanethanol) is also affected by other factors, such as the nature of the solvent, the molecular concentration, the volatilizing ratio of solvent, and self-assembly temperature.

Under atmospheric pressure, nano-polyethylene fibres were prepared via in situ ethylene extrusion polymerization, with MCM-41 and SBA-15 supported zirconocene dichloride (Cp2ZrCl2) catalytic systems, respectively. The effects of the geometrical structures and surface properties of MCM-41 and SBA-15 on the morphology of the resultant polyethylene, catalytic activity and polymerization rate were investigated and compared in various polymerization conditions. The possible formation mechanism of nano-polyethylene fibres with MCM-41 and SBA-15 supported Cp2ZrCl2 as catalyst was discussed.

A novel approach was applied to prepare shell thickness controllable magnetic microsphere precursor through the self-assembly of PDMS homopolymer with PFS-b-PDMS in selective solvent and adjusting the prepared onditions of samples such as temperature and aging time. The magnetic microsphere precursor provided with adjustable dimension of shell thickness 15, 40 and 90nm, respectively, which made it possessing various potential applications in biomedical and separating engineering fields.

One kind of large-size bamboo-shape nanotube from self-assembly of poly (ferrocenyldimethylsilane-b-dimethylsiloxane)(PFS-b-PDMS) block copolymer was obtained. It was found that firstly, PFS-b-PDMS formed sphere micelles and pearl-like cluster at room temperature, and then bamboo-shape nanotube formed when the solution was aged about 3 days. The formation mechanism of bamboo-shape nanotube was also discussed.

Through the Diels-Alder reaction between cyclopentadiene groups attached to polystyrene in the presence of zirconocene, novel polystyrene-supported metallocene catalysts were prepared. A novel method for immobilizing metallocene catalysts was investigated, and the resultant polystyrene-supported metallocene for olefin polymerization was studied. The results of olefin polymerization showed that different crosslinking degrees of support in the catalyst system had significant effects on the catalytic behavior. The influence of the [Al]/[Zr] molar ratio and the temperature on the (co) polymerization activity was studied. When 1-hexene and 1-dodecene were used for copolymerization with ethylene, an obvious positive comonomer effect was observed.© 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Nano-polyethylene fibers and floccules were prepared under atmospheric pressure via ethylene extrusion polymerization in suit, using the SBA-15-supported Cp2ZrCl2 catalytic system. The major morphology units in the samples were fibers and floccules. The diameter of the single nano-fibers was 120-200nm. The single nano-fibers could aggregate to form fiber aggregates and bundles. The number of PE floccules increased with extension of polymerization time, while the melting point of PE with nano-fibers was little higher than that of common polyethylene.

A well-defined linear polystyrene with cyclopentadienes groups was prepared and characterized. The cyclopentadienes groups performed a Diels-Alder reaction to form the reversible crosslinking of the support. In olefin polymerization the crosslinked active species transformed noncrosslinked active species via MAO. The influence of the reversibility of network on olefin polymerization was investigated.
