武传松,男,1959年2月出生。分别于1982年1月、1984年2月、1988年3月在哈尔滨工业大学获得工学学士、硕士和博士学位。1984年12月起在哈尔滨工业大学焊接教研室工作,历任助教、讲师、副教授,1991年破格晋升教授。1996年4月起在山东大学工作,现为山东大学材料连接技术研究所教授、博士生导师。曾先后/多次赴美国威斯康星大学、肯塔基大学、德国柏林工业大学、汉诺威大学、日本大阪大学、德国联邦材料试验研究院从事合作研究。

长期致力于焊接熔池及热过程数值模拟、实验测试与智能控制方面的研究工作,先后主持完成国家、省部级及国际合作研究课题二十余项。以第一完成人身份获得教育部自然科学奖一等奖1项、教育部自然科学奖二等奖1项、原航空航天工业部科技进步二等奖1项、山东省科技进步三等奖2项。在国内外重要学术期刊发表论文160余篇,其中62篇发表于国际重要学术杂志,已被SCI收录61篇、EI收录113篇,出版两部专著《焊接热过程和熔池形态》和《焊接热过程数值分析》、参编大型工具书《焊接手册》。

The correlation of the heat flux on the anode surface with the plasma properties at the free-fall edge was developed. By using the models of the tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding arc and the anode boundary layer, the heat transfer contributions to the anode heat flux in TIG welding were analyzed. The percentages of the electron flow contribution and the convection contribution were determined. The results show that the energy carried by the electrons constitutes most of the heat on the anode surface. 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.

Achieving an effective utilization and exploitation of TIG welding arcs require a thorough understanding of the plasma properties and its physical processes. Through simultaneous solutions of the set of conservation equations for mass, momentum. Energy and current. a mathematical model has been developed to predict the velocity, temperature, and current density distributions in argon welding arcs. The predicted temperature fields in arc regions, and the distribution of current density and heat flux at the anode agree well with measurements reported in literatures. This work could lay the foundation for developing a comprehensive model of the TIG welding process wheve a dynamic, two-way coupling between the welding arc and the weld pool surface is properly represented.

This paper introduces a fuzzy logic system that is able to recognize common disturbances during automatic gas metal arc welding (GMAW) using measured welding voltage and current signals. A statistical method was employed to process the captured transient raw data, and the probability density distributions (PDDs) and the class frequency distributions (CFDs) were obtained. Based on the processed data (PDD values of welding voltage and current and CFD values of the short-circuiting time), the system automatically generates fuzzy rules and membership functions of linguistic variables, conducts inference and defuzzification, and completes the evaluation process without further expert knowledge.

根据当前制造业对高效、优质、低耗焊接技术的迫切要求,研发出低成本的高速电弧焊接新工艺DE-GMAW。该工艺在常规GMAW焊接设备的基础上,通过附加GTAW焊枪构成旁路电弧,分流了一部分通过焊丝的焊接电流,在施加于焊丝的电流较大的情况下(保证了熔敷率),减小了作用于母材的热输入,解决了高速焊接面临的矛盾,实现了高速电弧焊接。建立了适用于DE-GMAW焊接工艺的有限元模型,并对该工艺条件下的温度场和应力变形进行了数值模拟。结果表明:计算出的DE-GMAW焊缝横断面形状尺寸与实验结果吻合良好;在通过焊丝的总电流相同时,DE-GMAW焊接时焊缝尺寸、热影响区宽度、应力、应变及变形均小于常规GMAW焊时的结果。这为DE-GMAW焊接工艺参数优化提供了基础数据。

【期刊论文】Numerical Simulation of Transient 3-D Surface Deformation of Full-Penetrated GTA Weld Pool

Establishing the correlation between transient behaviors of surface deformation of weld pools and workpiece penetration information, and quantitatively analyzing the surface deformation at top and bottom surfaces at the moment when the pool is penetrated and their dynamic responses to welding process parameters will provide many basic data for the realization of topside vision-based penetration control in gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW). A transient numerical model is developed to investigate the dynamic behaviors of full-penetrated GTAW weld pools in this paper. A whole and comprehensive scheme is used in which many factors such as moving arc, 3-D fluid and heat flow fields, transient state, full-penetrated weld pool and surface deformation at both top and bottom surfaces are considered. The transient developments of 3-D surface deformation and shape of weld pool during the period from partial penetration to full penetration are predicted. The simulated results show that the curves of ratios of the maximum depression to the length and width at top surface of weld pool at different times clearly indicate the basic information of penetration. So the relation of the ratios versus time can be used as an indicator to judge whether the weld pool is penetrated.

The profile of the free surface deformation of a weld pool gives information about the extent of penetration depth, and weld bead apperance. Calculating the surface deformation of the weld pool is of great significance to the task of welding process modeling and simulation. Two nonlinear partial differential equations for describing both front- and back-side deformation of weld pool surfaces are derived in detail to make the physical terms and the sign of Lagrange multiplier in two equations be with one accord. Under some practical welding conditions, the secant method is used to determine the value of Lagrange multiplier, and the coupled equations are numerically solved to calculate both front and back free surfaces’ deformation of full-penetrated three-dimensional weld pools. The influence of the welding current on the surface depression of weld pool is examined. It shows that the predicted weld pool deformation is in agreement with the measurements

【期刊论文】Real-Time Sensing and Monitoring in Robotic Gas Metal Arc Welding

A real-time monitoring system is developed for detecting abnormal conditions in robotic gas metal arc welding. The butt-joint test pieces with cut gap are used to intentionally introduce the step disturbance of welding conditions. During the welding process, the welding voltage and current signals are sampled and processed on-line to extract the characteristic information reflecting the process quality. After 1st statistical processing, it is found that seven statistical parameters (the mean, standard deviation, variance, and kurtosis of welding voltage; the mean, variance, and kurtosis of welding current) show variations during the step disturbance. Through 2nd statistical processing of the means of the welding voltage for subgroups of continuous measurement, the statistical control chart is obtained, and SPC (statistical process control) -based on-line identifying method is developed. Ten robotic welding experiments are conducted to verify the real-time monitoring system. It is found that the correct identification rate for normal and abnormal welding conditions are 100% and 95%, respectively.

It is a key issue to establish an appropriate model of the heat source in the simulation of the keyhole plasma arc welding (PAW). It requires that the model account for the keyhole effect and have the characteristic of volumetric distribution along the direction of the plate thickness. For available heat source models, neither Gaussian nor double ellipsoidal modes of heat source is applicable to keyhole PAW process. With considering the force of the high speed plasma jet and the associated strong momentum, a modified three-dimensional conical heat source model is proposed as the basis for the numerical analysis of temperature fields in keyhole PAW process. Further, a new heat source model for quasi-steady state temperature field in keyhole PAW is developed to consider the “bugle-like” configuration of keyhole and the decay of heat intensity distribution of the plasma arc along the direction of the workpiece thickness. Based on this heat source model, finite-element analysis of temperature profile in keyhole PAW is conducted and the weld geometry is determined. The results show that the predicted location and locus of the melt-line in the PAW weld cross section are in good agreement with experimental measurements.
