摘要

Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR) will be produced during the process of deformation and fracture of coal or rock under load, and EMR has a positive relativity with load and deformation and fracture of coal, the larger the load the intenser the process of deformation and fracture of coal or rock, also the intenser the EMR, vice versa. The gas has effect on EMR, the higher the gas pressure the intenser the EMR Locale testing and application show that the EMR intensity has a good relativity with the initial velocity of gas effusing from the bore and gas desorption index of drilling yields. It is feasible to forecast coal and gas outburst with EMR method. Compared with present conventional forecasting method, EMR method realizes non-contacting, continuous dynamic forecasting and characterized with low expenses, simple operation, and high accuracy rate etc.

摘要

Using KBD5 type Electromagnetic radiation (EMR) detector, EMR is measured at different orientation of working faces in different coal seams. The EMR results are compared with the usual forecasting methods for predicting coal and gas outburst phenomena. It has been observed that EMR method provides a feasible base for predicting such phenomena to take preventive measures against coal and gas outburst catastrophes in mines.

摘要

The authors make an experimental study and theoretical analysis on electromagnetic radiation (EMR) characteristics of compound coal or rock scants under uniaxial stress state. The study result shows that deformation and fracture of compound coal or rock under load can produce EMR, and the EMR characteristic (intensity and the pulse counting etc.) is closely related to the deformation and fracture process of compound coal or rock and it is different from that of single coal or rock. In the process of deformation and fracture of coal body in compound coal or rock seams the EMR is more intense than that of single coal or rock. while the EMR of compound rock is feeble than that of single rock. It is important to the study of EMR generating mechanism for orientational monitoring and forecasting coal or rock dynamic disasters, such as coal and gas outburst, rock burst etc..

摘要

This paper studies the principle and technology of forecasting rock burst with the electromagnetic radiation (EMR) method. Moreover. we made a lot of experiments and researches at the coal mine locale and the results show that EMR method forecasting rock burst is entirely reliable; comparing with the drilling yields method EMR method has lots of merits of non contacting, continuous & dynamic measure, low expenses. simply operation, and high accuracy.

摘要

In this paper. the effect of the electromagnetic radiation (EMR) of copper ore and the adjoining rock under uniaxial compression. uniaxial tensile loadings and frictional sliding was studied. The mechanisms of EMR were discussed under several conditions. The application in the copper mine testified that it is available to use the EMR to forecast rockbursts and strata behaviors in the metal mine.
