The near crack line analysis method was used to investigate a crack loaded by a pair of point shear forces in an infinite plate in an elastic-perfectly plastic solid. The analytical solution was obtained, that is the elastic-plas-tic fields near crack line and law that the length of the plastic zone along the crack line is varied with external loads. The results are sufficiently precise near the crack line and are not confined by small scale yielding condi-tions.

A new fracture criterion was proposed. The physical explanation of the criterion is that crack will propa-gate when the minimum strain energy-density in iso-hoop-stress curve reach a critical strength of the material con-sidered. The resulting curve of critical fracture of mixed-mode cracks shows that the present fracture is efficient and more accurate than the previous criteria.

It is of important significance to study the coalescence mechanism of splitting failure of crack-weakened rock masses under compressive loads. In this paper, a simplified mechanism of crack propagation, in which the crack grows along the direction of maximum principal compressive stress, is proposed. Thus, only mode I is taken into account in the formulation and solution. On the basis of the near crack line analysis method, the elastic-plastic stress field near the crack line is analyzed, and the law that the length of the plastic zone along the crack line is varied with an external loads have been established by the matching condition of the elastic-plastic fields on the boundary, the coalescence stress and the strength properties of rock masses have been determined. The solution is a function of the geometry of the crack array. The results show that the crack coalescence depends on the crack interface friction coefficient, the sliding crack spacing, orientation of the cracks, and the crack half-length. The conclusions are of important significance for rock mass engineering.

探讨了压剪条件下复杂形状裂隙间的相互作用对应力强度因子的影响,利用裂纹孤立原理将原始问题分解为5个只含单一直裂纹的问题。根据裂纹表面应力自由的边界条件,利用伪力的Legendre多项式展开和连续分布位错使相互作用裂隙边界条件得以满足,最后推导了第1种cauchy型和第1种Fredholm型奇异积分方程。该方法可以解决弯折裂纹、周期性排列的裂纹相互作用对应力强度因子的影响。数值结果表明,本文解与精确解、BEM解吻合较好,表明本方法是正确、可行的。
