Tritrichomonas suis, a tritrichomonad of pigs, and the related species Tritrichomonas foetus, a tritrichomonad of cattle, are morphologically identical. The taxonomic relationship between these two tritrichomonads has been questioned ever since they were established as distinct species in 1843 and 1928, respectively. Here, we compare the similarities of morphology, ultrastructure, distribution, host specificity, characteristics of in vitro cultivation, immunology, biochemistry and analysis of molecular data from published sources between these two species. All data indicate that these two tritrichomonad species are identical. Thus, we propose that T. foetus and T. suis are synonyms.

使用在原核 表达系统中表达的重组鸡白细胞介素2（IL-2）蛋白，经过初步的分享纯化，与鸡新城疫-禽流感-法氏囊-传染性支气管炎四联由乳剂灭活苗同时使用，检测其对疫苗垢免疫增强效果。试验共分5组，每组10只鸡，其中对照组只注射四联油乳剂灭活苗：4个试验组，在注射疫苗的同时分别注射重组鸡IL-2蛋白0.05mg、0.01mg、0.15mg、0.20mg。试验组与对照组同时各注射新城疫等多联油苗0.5ml。采用HA，HI试验测定鸡新城疫、禽流感抗体滴度。结果表明，重组鸡IL-2对该四联油乳剂灭活苗有较强的免疫增强作用。以第3、4组的增强效果较为明显，其中对鸡新城疫病毒和禽流感抗 原的抗体交价，与对照组相比分别提高2.4～2.8和2.2～3.0个滴度。重组鸡IL-2在使用过程中，没有发现任何毒副作用，证明是一种安全高效的免疫增强剂。

根据GenBank上发表的犬（Canis familiaris）IL-2基因序列，设计了1对引物。采用RT-PCR技术，以ConA刺激的犬外周血淋巴细胞为材料，从总RNA中扩增出犬IL-2基因。琼脂糖凝胶电泳显示扩增片段约为550 bp。分离纯化片段，克隆人pMD18-T载体，经酶切鉴定，测序结果显示，克隆的犬IL-2基因与GenBank上发表的序列一致，生物软件分析结果表明该序列与牛、羊和鹿的亲源性更近。构建表达质粒pET28-CaIL-2，转化大肠杆菌（Eschetichia coli）BL21，IPTG诱导表达，SDS-DPAGE电泳显示21.8kD左右的表达条带。MTT比色法测定活性结果表明：表达的重组犬IL-2蛋白具有极显著的体外增殖活化淋巴细胞的活性。

Transcripts regulated by the yeast nonsense-medi-ated and 5'to 3'mRNA decay pathwayswere identified by expression profiling of wild-type, upflA, nmd2A, upf3A, dcplA, and xrnlA cells. This analysis revealed that inactivation of Upflp, Nmd2p, or Upf3p has identi-cal effects on global RNA accumulation; inactivation of Dcplp or Xrnlp exhibits both common and unique effects on global RNA accumulation but causes upreg-ulation of only a small fraction of transcripts; and the majority of transcripts upregulated in upf/nmd strains are also upregulated to similar extents in dcplA and xrnlA strains. Our results define the core transcripts regulated by NMD, identify several novel structural classes of NMD substrates, demonstrate that non-sense-containing mRNAs are primarily degraded by the 5' to 3' decay pathway even in the absence of functional NMD, and indicate that 3' to 5' decay, not 5' to 3' decay, may be the major mRNA decay activity in yeast cells.

测定了淫羊藿多糖、黄芪多糖、当归多糖、蜂胶多糖、板蓝根多糖、淫羊藿黄酮、蜂胶黄酮、人参皂甙和黄芪皂 甙9 种中药成分对小鼠外周血和脾脏淋巴细胞增殖、腹腔巨噬细胞和脾脏NK细胞活性以及抗体生成细胞数量的影响。结果表明，黄芪多糖、淫羊藿多糖、当归多糖、板蓝根多糖、蜂胶黄酮、人参皂甙均能显著或极显著促进ConA（刀豆蛋白A）和LPS（脂多糖）诱导的小鼠外周血和脾脏淋巴细胞增殖，黄芪多糖、淫羊藿多糖、当归多糖、蜂胶黄酮、淫羊藿黄酮和人参皂甙均能极显著或显著提高小鼠腹腔巨噬细胞和NK细胞活性，黄芪多糖、蜂胶黄酮、淫羊藿黄酮、人参皂甙和淫羊藿多糖、黄芪皂甙极显著或显著增加小鼠的抗体生成细胞数。结果表明，9 种中药成分对小鼠免疫细胞具有不同的刺激能力，这种刺激能力可以作为筛选免疫增强剂的指标。
