摘要

由晶格内束缚态离子引起的共振隧穿现象将完全不同于低能下束-靶相互作用引发的核反应现象由于库仑位垒的作用只有那些长寿命的核內能级才能与晶格内的离子能级发生共振。其结果是带来中子辐射的快速核反应过程都不可能由此共振隧穿引发也就是取得核聚变能而不引发强烈的中子辐射是可能的。

摘要

The cross section of deuteron-triton sub-barrier fusion is calculated using the selective resonant tunneling model with the assumption of a square-well nuclear potential. A complex potential is assumed to describe the absorption inside the nuclear well. The surprisingly good agreement between the theoretical calculation and the experimental data implies that the compound nucleus model might not be applicable to the light-nuclei subbarrier fusion. Instead, the selective resonant tunneling model is proposed.

摘要

The nuclear fusion data for deuteron-triton resonance near 100 keV are found to be consistent with the selective resonant tunneling model. The feature of this selective resonant tunneling is the selectivity. It selects not only the energy level, but also the damping rate (nuclear reaction rate). When the Coulomb barrier is thin and low, the resonance selects the fast reaction channel; however, when the Coulomb barrier is thick and high, the resonance selects the slow reaction channel. This mechanism might open an approach towards fusion energy with no strong nuclear radiation.

摘要

Based on three major anomalous phenomena in 9 yr of research on nuclear reactions in solids, research-ers assume that a resonant tunneling model explains the experimental observation. Using a square-well configu-ration, the maximum resonant tunneling current through the Coulomb barrier is shown to be ofthe order ot 1/θ, while the nonresonant tunneling current is of, the order of 1/θ2 (1/θ2 is the Gamow tunneling factor). The dis-tinction between the resonant tunneling model and the compound nucleus modef is discussed. Particularly, the fon energy band fn the deuteride is fnvoked to generate the necessary fong Zifetime (d+d)x state. This resonant tunneling model might provide a mechanism for low-enerev nuclear transmutation as well.

摘要

The application of selective resonant tunneling model is extended fromd 1t fusion to other light nucleus fusion reactions, such as did fusion and d 13He. In contrast to traditional formulas, the new formula for the cross-section needs only a few parameters to fit the experimental data in the energy range of interest. The features of the astrophysical S-function are derived in terms of this model. The physics of resonant tunneling is discussed.
