【期刊论文】Room temperature preparation of novel Cu2−xSe nanotubes in organic solvent

A compound with a non-layered structure composed of Cu2−xSe nanotubes was prepared in a room temperature redox reaction in ethylene diamine solution. The product was characterized by x-ray diffractometry, transmission electron microscopy, high resolution transmission electron microscopy, and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Analysis shows that the nanotubes have a multiwall structure with (002) planes of face-centred cubic Cu2−xSe and open ends. The Cu2−xSe nanotubes have length 500nm, with an inner diameter of 20nm and an outer diameter of 30nm on average. Ethylene diamine's ability to achieve strong coordination and the presence of the reducing agent hydrazine hydrate aid the formation of Cu2−xSe nanotubes with mixed valence.

Copper and silver nanocrystalline chalcogenides, Cu2 xSe, Cu2Te, Ag2Se, and Ag2Te, have been successfully synthesized in a mixture of ethylenediamine and hydrazine hydrate as a solvent at room temperature.Products showed different morphologies, such as nanotubes, nanorods, and nanoparticles.The results indicated that the coordination and chelation abilities of ethylenediamine play an important role in the formation of one-dimensional nanocrystalline binary chalcogenides, and hydrazine hydrate is crucial to the electron transfer in the room temperature reactions.These transition-metal nanocrystalline chalcogenides as prepared were analyzed by X-ray powder diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.The UV-Vis absorption properties of these nanocrystals were also measured.

Uniform cubic-shaped PbS nanocrystals have been prepared by a hydrothermal reaction between Pb(Ac) 2. 2H2O and Na2S2O3 in the presence of surfactant of C17H33COOK. The product was characterized through XRD, TEM, and HRTEM. Essentially all the face-centered cubic phase of PbS nanocrystals are well-defined cube with (200) lattice planes as surfaces and easy to arrange orderly. r 2001 Published by Elsevier Science B. V.

Zinc selenide nanoribbons and nanowires were obtained using laser ablation of ZnSe pressed powders. Their formation appeared to follow the vapor-solid and vapor-liquid-solid growth mechanisms, respectively. The product was characterized by means of scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, micro-Raman scattering, and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. The ZnSe nanoribbons had a perfect wurtzite-2H single-crystal structure with a [120] growth direction and the {001} close-packed lattice planes of hexagonal ZnSe stacking along the nanoribbon width axis. The ZnSe nanowires grew with the {001} close-packed lattice planes of the wurtzite-2H structure stacking along the nanowire length axis. Both the longitudinal optic (LO) and transverse optic (TO) phonon peaks of the ZnSe nanowires and nanoribbons showed a clear shift toward low frequency relative to bulk values, probably because of small size and large surface effects. The ZnSe nanostructures exhibited strong self-activated luminescence centered at 596nm.
