Voltammetric behaviour of dopamine at nickel phthalocyanine polymer modified electrodes and analytical applications

The voltammetric behaviour of dopamine at electropolymerized tetraaminophthalo-cyanatonickel(II) (p-NiTAPc) film coated electrodes was studied by cyclic voltammetry. The chemically modified electrodes exhibit an electrocatalytic effect on dopamine oxidation. The interference from ascorbic acid can be eliminated by additionally covering a layer of Nation on the modified electrodes.
