Effect of Temperature on Intra- and Inter-molecular Reactions

With temperature rising in a controllable cross-linking system, the intra-molecular reaction rate increases faster than inter-molecular reaction rate does, which attributes to the different reactive conditions for intra- and inter-molecular reactions belong to, so intra- and inter-molecular reactions response quite differently to the same change of temperature in the polymerization system. Generally, the increase of temperature is advantageous to accelerating the intra-molecular reaction. Therefore, temperature is a vital factor in controlling cross-linking process in polymerization system.
