Sintering technology research of Fe3A1/A1203 ceramic composites

Fe3M/A1203 ceralllic composites are SOllle of the novel ceralllic composites that have good appliction prospects as catting tools and fomfing dies in this paper, the effects of different sintering technologies on the microslrnclm-e of these composites are conlpared and analysed, the optical micrograph of the composite sample nlade by different ratio and hot press sintering technology being observed and studied The results of experiment indicate that Fe3AI/A1203 composites with fine grains, compact strnctm-e and good mechanical properties can be obtained at about 1400℃ Furthermore, in addition to the sintering pressme, the content of Al203 and the additives ofthe composites, also have an-nnlportant influence on their sintering temperature, lnicrostrnctm-e and characteristics When adjusting the factors appropriately,the composites can be sintered at low temperature.
