摘要

The propagation characteristics of a plasma waveguide with a finite thickness of cladding immersed in an external magnetic field are presented. The effects of the collision frequency, electron cyclotron frequency, plasma thickness of cladding on propagation constants are investigated. Numerical investigations show that the attenuation of the waveguide is an oscillating function of the plasma thickness of cladding and collision frequency.

摘要

The normal modes in overmoded plasma waveguide coated with a lossy material are analyzed, particularly for the variation of its propagation properties with plasma parameters, coating materials, dimensions of the waveguide and frequencies. The separate characteristic equations of normal modes are derived, and their relevant approximate solutions are given. The limit results are consistent with those given in literature. The analysis shows that the propagation properties of the overmoded plasma circular waveguide can be controlled by choosing proper plasma parameters, coating materials and waveguide dimensions.

摘要

The propagation characteristics of magnetoplasma waveguide coated with a finite thickness of dielectric material are presented. Because the boundary conditions at all interfaces can be represented by the matrix equations, the characteristic equation can be obtained by successively using the matrix manipulations. The dependence relations of attenuation and dispersion of the fundamental mode with plasma frequency, collision frequency, and electron cyclotron frequency are shown.

摘要

A novel three-layer neural network with knowledge-based neurons in hidden layer (NNKBN) has been applied to model the crossover discontinuities in stripline circuits. The NNKBN model is electromagnetically developed with a set of data that are produced by the fullwave finite-difference-time-domain method. Numerical experiments show that the NNKBN model has many advantages over the conventional multilayer perceptron model.

摘要

分析了等离子体圆柱波导中存在的一般模式。重点讨论了波导的传播特性随等离子体参数、介质参数、波导尺寸、工作频率的变化。导出了各种模式的模方程,并给出了相应的近似解的解析表达式。在极限条件下,导出的结果与文献所给的结果相一致。计算的结果表明,这种结构波导的传播特性可以通过选择适当的等离子体参数、介质参数以及波导的尺寸来控制。
