古代一些璧画,由于长期受外界环境,如光照、温湿度的影响,已程度不同地产生了破损,为了使人们能够欣赏到原怍的风貌,可以采用计算机来进行模拟和复原,现以敦煌莫高窟壁画为应用背景,提出了一个使破损壁画虚拟复原和湃变模拟的模型以及计算机模拟方法。它可以为复原性临摩、壁画研究以及壁画保护工作者提供参考。根据敦煌保护专家对壁面颜料成分的研究和艺术家积累的经验知识。参考目前保存得比较完好的一些壁画·通过综合利用色彩学知识、图象处理、人工智能等计算机技术。实现了把一些变色、褪色、脱落的敦煌壁画复原为初画成时金碧辉煌的景象,并摸拟出其在外界环境因素影响下渐变到现状的过程。其结果令人满意,部分成果已在德国汉诺威20OO年世界博览会上晨出。

Many rare culture relics and sites have been on the verge of great danger because of natural disaster, eco-nomic and tour development, etc. How to conserve, research and exploit the heritage resource is becoming more and more instant and important. In this paper, we discuss how t ocomserve, rebuild and restore culture relics and sites digitally, through the integration of computer science and ocnventional heritage-protection technology. Now, we have developed Dunhuang Cave Virtual Navigation System through taking advantage of the Virtual Reality, Image Processing and Artificial Intelligence technology. These works improve the efficiency of heritage conservation and research extremely.

Digital information recording is the basis of virtual representation, transformation and analysis for multi-form-dimension objects. In the process of building virtual worlds, recording the spatial and colorific attributes of the multiform-dimension objects is always a hard, but very important job. Taking the heritages of Dunhuang Art Cave as examples, the integrated technology of digital information recording for multiform-dimension objects is discussed. In addition, according to the specialties of the representative heritages of Dunhuang Art Cave, the methods and cri-terions for recording murals and painted sculptures are proposed, that can satisfy the requirements of the high-preci-sion documentation and representation of digital heritages.
