The thermal expansion characteristics of MgO partially stabilized zirconia (MgO-PSZ) electrolytes are studied by dilatometric technique. It is found that the phase transformation of MgO-PSZ from onoclinic to tetragonal takes place in two temperature ranges of 460-8308C and 1150-11808C. The volume shrinkage associated with these phase transformations plays an important role for the thermal shock resistance. With heat-treatment at 13008C for 2h and at 10008C for 6-8h, the thermal shock resistance of the MgO-PSZ electrolyte tube can be greatly improved.

对Gd2O 3掺杂CeO 2纳米粉体进行了等速烧结实验研究。得出了试样的线收缩率、密度、气孔率随烧结温度的变化规律,回归出了描述这些物理量与烧结温度之间关系的动力学方程。

采用K-E双方程模型模拟计算了冷态燃气在轴对称渐扩燃烧器内的有旋流动状态,分析了不同旋流强度对速度分布、回流区形状大小的影响及旋流强度与出口速度之间的相互关系,预报了有旋流和无旋流下燃烧器内的流场分布,给出了燃烧器出口速度随旋流强度的变化趋势,为燃烧器设计提供理论依据。

In this study, we compare the performance of solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) having composite Cu-based anodes but made with the following low-temperature electrolytes: samaria-doped ceria (SDC), Sr-and Mg-doped lanthanum gallate (LSGM), and scandia-stabilized zirconia (ScSZ). Performance (V-I) curves and impedance spectra were measured using H2 and n-butane fuels at 973 K. The results suggest that the use of electrolyte materials with higher ionic conductivity can lead to improved anodes for direct-utilization SOFC, although the performance of each of the cells in n-butane appears to be at least partially limited by the electrochemical oxidation reaction.

La0.8Sr0.2Ga0.8Mg0.2O3 d (LSGM)-electrolyte-supported solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs)with Cu-CeO2-LSGM anodes were fabricated, and their performance, while operating on H2 and C4H10, was characterized. The cells demonstrated the ability to directly operate on both hydrogen and butane fuels between 600 and 700 8C. At 700 8C, a cell with a 440-Am thick electrolyte had maximum power densities of 220 and 115mW/cm2 for H2 and C4H10 fuels, respectively. Impedance study indicates that the Cu-CeO2-LSGM anodes limit cell performance.
