摘要

The florist's chrysanthemuml Dendranthema morifolium/Rarest./Tzvel., is a world known flceer, yet-the-problem of its origin has not been solved.-After a brief survey of the history of the flolriet's chrysanthemum in China, as well as concise descriptions of the probable parental wild species, the author laid stress on introducing preliminary achieve-ments in artificial creation of a new species-D. pekinense/Chen and Liang.1963, Chen and Liang 1964; Chen et el. 1981; Chen et al 1982/, being a tetraplold/2n=36/with intermediate characteristics between its maternal parent D. indicum var. acutum and paternal D. erubescens but with white, light pink, light yellow and. yellow semi double flower heads. 3 Peking Daisy cultivars/D. peki-nense/were obtained during 1962-1963, and 10 more cvs./also I plant each/in 1979-1980, all from F seedlings of D. indicum vat. acutumx1 D. erubescens, among many other offsprings of different speelflc hybrids. Beginning from autumn of 1981. artificial cross polllnations were made mostly between D. zawads-kii and indicum slong the slopes of Huang Shah/Yellow Mountain/, Anhui Province with alt. 1450-1680m. The mother plants were potted and transplanted to Beijing, and seeds/achenes in reeality/to be harvested on them during the winter in cool greenhouse. 19 hybrid plants from D. zawadskii X D. in-dicum show intermediate stem and leaf characteri-stics. F1 plants in bloom during the coming autumn will probably'throw new light on solving the origin problem. Further investigation projects, includin6 cross combinations with D. vestitumas one of the hybridization parents, also including some cytological observations with chromosomes of the parental wild species as well as those of the F1 hybrids are suggested.

Beginnig in autumn of 1961, Chen and his colleague crossed 3 hardy, wild Dendranthema species (D. indicum var. acutum, D. chanetii and D. lavendulifolium). with some early chrysanthemum cultivars (D. x grandora). During 1962-1963, we selected twice by giving points of evaluation by experts, resulting in 13 qvs. of the Rock Daisy ("Hong Yan", etc.) selected and named. Butextention and research work was dropped during the "Cultural Revolutions" for more than 10 years after 1965. In 1981, we continued the research work of chrysanthemum breeding by giving lectures and making practises. But studies on breeding Dibeiju or Ground-Cover Chrysanthemums were really carried on after 1984 by the authors (Chen et al.). For instance, D.vestitum, one of the most important pqrents in distant crossing, was discovered in large areas and introduced by the first author from Tian Ju Shah of Anhui Province (1984); "Mei Ai Fen" was selected out from early chrysanthemum mixed seedlings by him (1984); the aim of breeding adjusted (Chen et al., 1985); the research project supported by Beijing Committee of Science and Technology (1987); and the cultivar group name Dibeiju (Ground-Cover Chrysanthemum) appointed and used. (Chen et al., 1987) During recent 6 years (1987-1993), 5 batches of Dibeiju new cvs. have been bred and distributed for extension. Over 5 000 000 plants of it have been in cultivation in whole China until the end of June 1993.

摘要

树种规划是城市园林绿地规划的一个重要组成部分,是园林绿化事业带方向性的基础工作之一。本文论述了树种规划的意义,强调应在树种调查的基础上进行树种规划。文中以昆明、上海两城市为例,指出充分而深刻地认识城市自然地理环境和风土条件的重要性,然后介绍了这两城市乔木树种的调查结果。作者初步提出了城市园林树种规划的几项原则,最后介绍了1976年在昆明、1977年在上海与业务部门协作提出的园林乔木基调树种和骨干树种名单。

【期刊论文】面临挑战和机遇的中国花卉

摘要

该报告首先指出花卉业是朝阳产业,接着比较分析了我国花卉业与世界花卉业之特点与异同。然后以1999年我国首次举办’99昆明世界园艺博览会(园)为例,指出事实证明中国园林花卉业达到国际一流是可能的,但在“中华特色”上尚需人力加强。中国园林花卉业亟待加强领导、明确方向、扬长避短、全面复兴。报告接着剖析了中国花卉业“入世后面临的严峻挑战,找到了“花卉新四化”的方向——认为这是顶着压力、抓住机遇的最佳对策。在五六十年时期内达到先进国家花卉业现有水平,足可能的,中国花卉业定要实现全面复兴,用几十年时间走完两方二三百年之路:即从世界园林之母的资源优势,达到并发挥全球花卉工国的生产与经营优势。
