Er对原位ZrB2/A356.2金属基复合材料组织与性能的影响

摘要:(本文采用原位合成法制备ZrB2/A356.2复合材料,研究了引入ZrB2对A356.2铸态微观组织的影响以及不同Er含量对复合材料铸态微观组织及力学性能的影响。结果表明引入ZrB2后α-Al晶粒和粗大共晶Si发生略微细化,添加Er后α-Al晶粒细化明显,并且对共晶Si有很好的变质效果,α-Al由粗大树枝晶变为蔷薇状、球状,共晶Si从粗大的针片状变为细小的纤维状、球状,有效的提高了复合材料的力学性能。当Er添加量为0.1wt.%时细化变质效果最为明显,力学性能提高最为显著。

Effect of Er on Microstructure and Properties of In-situ ZrB2/A356 Composites
Abstract:In this work, the ZrB2/A356.2 composites were synthesized via chemistry melt in situ reactions, the effects of ZrB2 and Er on the microstructures and mechanical properties of the composites were investigated. The results demonstrated that the addition of ZrB2 can slightly refine the α-Al grains and eutectic silicon, while Er can significantly refine the α-Al grains and have a good modification effect on eutectic silicon, which can effectively improve the mechanical properties of the composites. The optimum addition levels for refinement and modification lay at 0.1wt.%, the mechanical properties increased most significantly.
