银纳米线的热电性质测量

摘要:利用直流稳态法测量两种不同直径单晶银纳米线在不同温度下的热电性质。结果表明银纳米线导热、导电性质与体材料相比有巨大差异,具体表现在银纳米线的电阻率要比体材料大,导热系数比体材料的小很多;在测量温度范围内,银纳米线导热系数随着温度的增加而增加,其变化趋势与体材料相反;电导率以及洛伦兹数随温度变化趋势与体材料相同,随温度的升高而升高。将银纳米线暴露在空气中24小时后,电阻率增加近2.5倍,因此在应用过程中需要额外注意金属纳米线的化学稳定性。

Thermoelectric Properties of Individual Silver Nanowires
Abstract:The thermoelectric properties of monocrystalline silver nanowires were investigated by direct current steady-state method. The thermoelectric properties of silver nanowires with different diameters were measured at different temperatures. The results show that the conductivity of silver nanowires is different from that of bulk materials, and the specific resistivity of silver nanowires is larger than that of bulk materials. The thermal conductivity is much smaller than that of bulk materials. In the measurement temperature range, the thermal conductivity of silver nanowires increases with the increase of temperature, and the change trend is opposite to that of the bulk material. The electrical conductivity and the Lorentz number have the same trend as those of the bulk material, and the temperature decreases with the increase of the temperature. We further observe a 2.5 fold increment of the electrical resistivity after the nanowire exposing to the air for 24h, emphasizing the importance of the chemical stability in the applications of metallic nanowire.
