With rapid progress of Modern manufacture, the demand for corresponding measurement technique with on-line characteristic is necessary. This papers presents a systematic visual solution for on-line industrial 3D measurement, the solution comprises two parts: Multi-sensors Visual Inspecting Station (MSVIS) and Digital Close-range Visual Inspecting Station (DCVIS). MSVIS is an integrated system with many sensors, can meet the requirement of application with sparse measured points distributed within the large volume. DCVIS, only contains two digital cameras and one or more projector, has advantages of high relative accuracy and small set up volume, will be suited to the application with dense measured points. The compounding use of MSVIS and DCVIS can produce a general solution for the on-line industrial 3D measurement.
