程兆林,男,汉族,九三学社社员,1939年12月生于浙江省宁波市,1963年7月毕业于复旦大学数学系数学专业。1963年8月至今在山东大学数学与系统科学学院(原数学系)任教。1993年被聘为教授,1996年任博士生导师,担任山东大学数学与系统科学学院控制与系统科学研究所所长,山东大学数学与系统科学学院学位委员会委员。程兆林教授科研兴趣涉及多变量控制系统理论及应用的多个方面,特别是奇异系统理论,包括奇异系统,奇异时滞系统及非线性奇异系统的二次指标最优控制,受限控制,鲁棒控制,变结构控制,及故障检测等。在上述领域,他作为项目负责人主持国家自然科学基金二项(1988-1990,1991-1993),山东省自然科学基金二项(1994-1996,1997-1999)。作为项目主要参加者参加国家重点基础研究项目子课题一项(1999-2003),高校博士点专项基金二项(1993-1995,1999-2001),发表论文100余篇,其中被SCI (Science Citation Index),EI (The Engineering Index) 收录50余篇。获国家教委科技进步二等奖(1988),山东省科技进步三等奖(1994),姓名收入美国“The International Mathematical Union”出版的“世界数学家名录”第9版(1990)及第10版(1994)。

The singular linear-quadratic optimal control problem for a class of discrete-time linear singular systems with multiple time-delays is investigated. The equivalent relationship between this problem and the non-singular linear-quadratic problem for standard state-space discrete-time linear systems without time-delay is derived, and the necessary and sufficient condition guaranteeing this equivalent relationship is also given. The optimal control is synthesized as state feedback, and the closed-loop system is regular, impulse-free and without time-delay. An example is given to show the validity of the proposed method.

This paper investigates the problem of semiglobal L2 disturbance attenuation for a class of nonlinear systems. By [4], our purpose of designing controllers is just to attenuate all disturbances in a given bounded subset of L2 [0, ∞]. We prove that for any such a given bounded subset there exist partial state feedbacks and dynamic output feedbacks respectively which attenuate each disturbance in the given bounded subset in the L2 gain sense and attain asymptotic stability without disturbance.

The robust output feedback stabilization problem for singular time delay system with norm-bounded parametric uncertainties is considered in this paper. All the coefficient matrices except the matrix E include uncertainties. The authors derive sufficient conditions about the robust stability of the two closed-loop systems which are obtained by applying an observer-based controller and a compensator to the singular time delay system respectively. Then the strict linear inequality (LMI) design approaches are developed and the desired robust output feedback control laws are given.

Three kinds of observers for linear singular time delay systems, namely functional observers, reduced-order obsevers and full-order observers, are considered iu this paper. About the former two, observers with and without internal delay are considered respectively. About the latter, observers without internal delay is given. The corresponding design steps for various observers, which are all nolrmal linear time delay systems, are presented. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the methods.

This Paper studies the problem of almost disturbalice decoupling for striet feedback nonlinear delayed system with adaptive L2-gain disturbance attenuation. A backstepping-like design method is proposed. In the delay-independent recurslve design method, the effect of time delays vanishes with new Lyapunov functions being proposed Based on our method, it can conclude that there exist robust control strategies that solve the almost disturbance attenuation problem for nonlnear systems with time delays.

In this paper, the problem of state and input estimation for uncertain linear singular systems with unknown inputs is concerned. The necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of the observer and the simple method to design the observer are given. The robust stability of the closed-loop obtained by dynamic output feedback is also discussed.

This paper considers Robust Fault Detection and Isolation Observer (RDO) for uncertain singular time delay system with faults. A sufficient condition for the existence of RDO and an efficient design algorithm are obtained. The design of RDOs associated with various splitting of the faults are also discussed.

The robust stabilization via state feedback for discrete time singular systems with norm-bounded time invariant parameter uncertainties in the matrix E is discussed. Without the regularity of the systems, the equivalence between this problem and the robust stabilization via state feedback for uncertain standard statespace discrete-time linear systems is obtained. In terms of LMI, a necessary and sufficient condition that there exists a robust state feedback stabilizing controller such that the closed-loop system is regular, causal and stable for all admissible uncertainties is given, the design method of the controller and a controller are also given.

The global exponential mesh stability of interconnected system is studied in the above paper. In this note, some errors in the paper are highlighted. First, we show that a condition in the proof of Theorem 1 is not rigorously justified. Second, we show by an example that the definition of global exponential mesh stability is not well defined in the paper.
