Extended X-ray Absorption Fine Structure Study of Eu-Doped BaPbO3

The neighbor structure of Pb and Euatoms in the Eu2doped BaPbO3 polycrystal powder has been studied with the extended X-ray absorption fine st ructure (EXAFS). Mean dis2tances of Pb2O and Eu2O are obtained. Furthermore by means of XRD and ICP analysis, it is proved that Eu3+ partially replaces Pb4 + and result s in the formation of oxygen vacancies in the system of Eu2doped BaPbO3.
