【期刊论文】A SWITCHED RELUCTANCE VARIABLE SPEED GENERATOR

摘要

The paper presents the Switched Reluctance variable speed generator system. The structure of the switched reluctance generator, the rotor position detector, the exciting power converter and the controller are given. The mathematical models of the system are also given. Two control strategies of the constant-power output control with the constant output voltage are advanced. The experimental tested results of the prototype with two control strategies of the constant-power output control with the constant output voltage are also presented. It is shown that the generator system at the wide velocity range has the high systematical efficiency and the low peak value of phase current with adopted the fixed conducting angle PWM control strategy. All those contribute to enhancing the reliability of the system, increasing the transformed ratio of energy/electrical energy. The asymmetric bridge exciting power converter and the bifilar winding exciting power converter could be used in the system. The IGBT and MOSFET could be used as the main switches in the exciting power converter. The comparison of the two types of the exciting power converters were made, and the comparison of the two types of the main switches were also made.

摘要

The paper presents the principles of two quadrants control, such as the traction control and regenerative braking control. The configuration of the Switched Reluctance motor drive for application in electric drive bicycle, such the schematic diagram of the system, the motor, the rotor position detector, the control logic for the operation at two quadrants and the two quadrants control scheme, are given. The comparison of the two types of the three-phase motors, such as the 12/8 structure motor and the 6/8 structure motor, at the same average electromagnetic torque in the turn numbers of per stator pole coil, in the resistance of the stator phase windings, and in the basic output frequency of the power converter, are made. Tested results of the developed prototype with the three-phase 12/8 structure motor, in the travel course with once charging, in the velocity, in the output torque, in the output power, in the systematic efficiency and in the peak value of phase current, are presented.

The paper presents the three types of magnetic-flux paths at the condition of single-phase excitation and the two types of magnetic-flux paths at the condition of double-phase excitation while one phase winding is installed as NSNS. The calculated torque-angle characteristics of the machine are given with the different magnetic-flux paths.1

摘要

The paper presents the analysis of the four-phase 8/6 structure Switched Reluctance motor drive under the lacking one phase fault condition with the fault tolerant control and without the fault tolerant control by the two common adjustable-speed control strategies. Some performance indexes that indicate the capacity of fault tolerant, the effect of the fault, the current rating requirement of the main switches in the power converter and the load requirement of the phase windings in the motor, are given. The drive could continue operation and keep the rated output without the faulted phase by the fault tolerant control with the current rating of the components in the power converter and the load rating of the normal phase windings in the motor allowed.
