微波加热能够显著加快化学反应、提高产率微波是否仅仅起了加热的作用是否存在某种特殊效应?这些问题仍然存在激烈的争论。用微波辐射对外界因素敏感的BZ(Belousov-Zhabotinsky)振荡反应,观察到微波辐射下反应周期发生了明显的变化,有迹象表明存在特殊效应。

Some measurable solution properties related to the reactant concentration, such as light density, conductivity, electromotive force, and pressure, are usually used to measure the rate constant of a chemical reacton. In this paper, the effective permittivity of a solution, where the acetone iodation reaction is carried out, has been measured and proposed to be used to calculate the rate constant of reaction. The rate constant is compared with the result calculated by using the conductivity. Both of them are in satisfactory agreement and approach the theoretical values.
