The vector finite element method of tetrahedral elements is used to model 3D electromagnetic wave logging response. The tangential component of the vector field at the mesh edges is used as a degree of freedom to overcome the shortcomings of node-based finite element methods. The algorithm can simulate inhomogeneous media with arbitrary distribution of conductivity and magnetic permeability. The electromagnetic response of well logging tools are studied in dipping bed layers with the borehole and invasion included. In order to simulate realistic logging tools, we take the transmitter antennas consisting of circular wire loops instead of magnetic dipoles. We also investigate the apparent resistivity of inhomogeneous formation for different dip angles.

YPO4 and Eu-doped YPO4 nanoparticles were synthesized by a hydrothermal method. The structure, content of surface water and luminescence properties were characterized by X2ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), fluorescence spectrum, infrared spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy and thermogravimetry analysis. The XRD measurements indicated that YPO4 nanoparticles were a single phase of tetragonal (I41PAMD) zircon struc-ture type. YPO4 nanoparticles showed a size reduction with the reaction temperature decreased. Considering the XRD, IR and Raman analysis, a lattice expansion and enhancement of structural units were observed with the particle size decreased. A dipole to dipole model was used to analysis the intrinsic reason. The fluorescence spectra of Eu2doped YPO4 was also given and the emission bands were ascribed to the f to f tran-sitions of Eu3 +.

A new nanometer material, nanometer AlO(OH) loaded on the fiberglass with activated carbon fibers felt(ACF) as the carrier, was prepared by hydrolytic reaction for the removal of Cd(II) from aqueous solution using column adsorption experiment. As was confirmed by XRD determination, the hydrolysis production loaded on fiberglass was similar to the orthorhombic phase AlO(OH). SEM images showed that AlO(OH) particles were in the form of small aggregated clusters. The Thomas model was applied for estimating the kinetic parameters and the saturated adsorption ability of Cd(II) adsorption on the new adsorbent. The results showed that the maximum adsorption capacity of Cd(II) was 128.50mg·g-1 and 117.86 mg·g-1 for the adsorbent mass of 0.3289 g and the adsorbent mass of 0.2867g, respectively. The elution experiment result indicated that the adsorbed Cd ions was easily desorbed from the material with 0.1 mol·L-1 HCl solution. Adsorption-desorption cycles showed the feasibility of repeated uses of the composited material. The adsorption capacities were influenced by pH and the initial Cd(II) concentration. The amount adsorbed was greatest at pH 6.5 and the initial Cd(II) concentration of 0.07mg·L-1, respectively. Nanometer AlO(OH) played a major role in the adsorption process, whereas the fiberglass and ACF were assistants in the process of removing Cd(II). In addition, the adsorption capacities for Cd(II) were obviously reduced from 128.50mg·g-1 to 64.28mg·g-1 when Pb ions were present because Pb ions took up more adsorption sites.

A new method based on generalized reflection and transmission (R/T) coefficients method is proposed to calculate the single seismic phase (SSP) of cylindrically mlultilayered media including liquid intelayer. The use of nor-malization facotrs and normalzed Lame coefficients makes the algorithm stable numerically. Using the modified R/T matrices, we derive the iterative expressions of generalized R/T matrices, and by using the iterative relation we determine the SSP of each interface and the full waveforms. To show the superiority of this new approach for investigating of reflection and transmission properties of cylindrically multivalyered media, we simulate the full waveforms and SSPs of cased hole model with annulus 1 (casing-cement interface) channelling (or, cross-flow). The generalized reflection coefficient spectra and SSPs of interfaces obtained show the propagation mechanism of each component of full waveform clearly.

利用水热法合成了磷酸钇基质(YPO4)和磷酸钇掺铕(YPO4∶Eu)的纳米颗粒。通过粉末衍射(XRD)、透射电镜(TEM) 、红外光谱、拉曼光谱、荧光光谱、热重分析(TG)等手段对合成纳米材料的结构、粒度、表面水的含量以及发光特性进行了表征。结果表明:样品结晶良好,为单一的四方相(I41PAMD)锆石结构,且随着水热温度的降低,晶粒的粒度变小。研究发现,随着YPO4 样品粒度的减小,晶格体积膨胀,并通过XRD 结合红外和拉曼分析发现晶体对称性提高。利用表面水的偶极模型分析了其内在机制。给出了YPO4∶Eu 的荧光光谱,指出其中各个峰对应的跃迁能级,确定为Eu3 + 的发射峰。
